Cookie Night sounds like fun. I can smell those chocolate chip cookies baking now. Of cource you have to eat the raw cookie dough, right?

Winotracy - I'm thinking about getting a Dell too. They seem to have some good prices on their laptops. Maybe Santa will be nice and bring me one.

Two-Foxes - Jill, I know wxactly where Malley's is. Used to go there all the time for a hot fudge sundae. Loved the hot fudge in the little container that you poured on yourself. Also liked that they would give you pretzels with your ice cream. Their candy factory is close to were I live in Brook Park. They make chocolate covered strawberries that are to die for. Sorry to hear you moved to Denver. Is there still talk there about "The Drive" or "The Fumble"?

Eric - I guess I forgot to give you my city and state. We live in Brook Park Ohio whick is a suburb of Cleveland on the North Coast.

Scootersmom - Glad to have another Ohioan going with us.

Happy Anniversary Peter and Jen!!!

Dale

Dale,
please send any additional info you want to see LISTed to the cruisetoberfest-account.
With about 40 families already on The List it is too much work to 'pick' info from the thread - Sorry, no exceptions granted;)

Hey Cruisetoberfesters!! Glad to hear that you guys had a good time. We really missed you, but this definitely wouldn't have been a good year for us to cruise. But, I just saw this thread and brought up the idea of going on this cruise to Chris and he is interested. So, we might be joining you in 2006.

We're also going on the DVC Member Cruise next year, so I'm trying to decide the best way to book this cruise, points/no points, best discounts, etc. But, I'm hoping we can work it in.

We would love to see our Cruisetoberfest II friends again!

Amy

You see, Dale, that is all that the Broncos have to hold on to now, is the past....since Elway has gone, all they have is footage, but yes, the highlight reels ALWAYS have The Fumble and Drive. I am not "really" sorry that we moved here....although Denver completely lacks the hometown diversity of Cleveland, the mountains make up for Lake Erie, easily!!!

My mom worked at Malleys in high school, so it has been a family favorite for decades....I took DH there for "lunch" when we visted in January. Still the same hot fudge, sooooo good! And the family who bought our house let me and Tim wander through it....it was so nice of them, and just so cool to be able to walk through it again! They haven't changed much of it over the years!

Amy!!!!!
It would be So great to have you with us again. Then we would get to see you new daughter.princess: And Betting Emily is cuter then ever.::MinnieMo

Haven't got the lithograph framed yet. But did manage to write down the mesurements so that I can buy a frame next time I'm in a store. With Christmas coming up, I may have to ...go shopping:eek: soon.

Night ya'll,
Avé

It was a beautiful day in Central PA, Indian summer with tempature of 72. So how did we spend the day, by doing leaves for over 4 hours. We don't have leaf collection again until Nov 15 so I hope they don't all blow back in the yard. I hope that is the last of them, but I doubt it since my neighbors maple trees haven't fallen yet.

I never got around to framing the Disney 25 th anniversary poster we received that year, so don't have any hopes that the litho will get framed. Come to think of it I never even got my son's senior picture framed.

Eric--- Glad you go your Gramps moved in.

Amy--- Nice to hear from you. We looked at the Members Cruise, but with my schedule next year no cruise for us until the end of Oct.

Not sure about Cookie Night yet.

I've spent all night updating my hockey files. My old program would not load up into the new Dell so had to redue the entire thing. It has taken me all week to finish it. I will be glad when it is May 2005 and I can be finished with hockey stuff. After 17 years of volunteering for hockey I am retiring.

Nancy I have heard that song before girl

Hope that you will be able to give the reins to someone else. Mike

Hi Amy,
it would be great to have you with us ::yes::
I'll do a mailing to all Cruisetoberfest I&II-participants informing them about Cruisetoberfest IV soon. Unfortunately the old mail-accounts have been discontinued and so I have to pick all the adresses from the old lists. But it is on my roster for one of the next weekends.

Well, Sunday was a good day. Dale Jr. won the race and the Steelers killed the Eagles so I'm very happy. Since there's no hockey, can't root for the Devils.

God's punishing me for being such a smart aleck......Yesterday was a gorgeous crisp fall day - the leaves are just beginning to turn here - and still we had only one person come by for the open house. I did buy my St Joseph (although I couldn't get one separated from Mary and Baby Jesus). I even held him up at church when they did the blessing....but I didn't get around to burying him before we left yesterday. I really felt BAD about putting them in the ground........so I carried them around it my purse all day but it didn't work! I'm starting to get the feeling I'm screwed with the good guys. Now I'm kicking myself for not getting some sort of voodoo help when I was in New Orleans.
Or maybe I should start praying to St Anthony to "find" me a buyer.......he and I are good buddies. Somebody please give me some advice!

Call in the guy that redoes houses on TLC. The name of the show totally escapes me at the moment but he comes in and 'stages' the house to make it sell. He makes a big difference in a day and not spending that much money either. :D

Does anyone watch American Dreams? Switched between it and Extreme Home Makeover last night and ended up in tears watching both. I'm such a sucker.

Nice day here although definately colder. Drove through some light flurries on the way to work and saw cars with snow on them that were obviously from slightly further north.

Amy - glad that you posted. How are the girls? Would love it if all of you came on the cruise. Emily must be so big!

Must get back to work.

If you still carry insurance for the house, you could go for the thermal solution pirate: :teeth:

Anyone looking at a Hilton Head vacation in the coming months? We usually go for a long weekend in Jan or Feb (or both). It would be fun to have a DIS meet there. [/B][/QUOTE]

Yes, we are finalizing our plans for a few days in February.

A lot of trucks around here today. They are digging basements like crazy before the gound freezes. It will be weird to have houses across the street.

Belated happy anniversary to Peter & Jen!

I have 4 lithographs I need to frame. They are scenes of the countries in Epcot that I got at the Flower festival and F&W festival.

I just love Malley's!!!!!! DH used to get me a box of chocolate every year for Sweetest Day from them. DH grew up in Parma. Now, we just moved to North Ridgeville from Strongsville. I grew up in Solon.
