After too many wdw trips to remember, we are really looking forward to DLP. We are DVC members with "homes" at WL,BCV and SSR, so we are using points to stay at the disneyland hotel. Can't wait!!!!. My husband can understand German fairly well but can only speak enough to make himself understood. He doesn't get much chance to use his German skills.

Welcome to Marcy and her family! How old is your grand daughter? Our boys will be 9 and 11 on the cruise. They are looking for friends to hang out with.
Can't wait to meet you...and everyone else...in person! This is our second WDW Cruise but our first Cruisetoberfest and our first 7 night. That countdown clock can't go fast enough!

Since our first trip to WDW in 1972, where we stayed at the Polynesian, to our last trip 2 weeks ago when we stayed at the SSR, we have probably been to WDW 50 times, Disneyland twice, and DCL once. While I have just started to post, I have lurked for a long time on all Disney sites. I guess I'm just shy.

TGIF!!! It's been a busy, crazy, hectic week! I am looking forward to the warmer weather...relaxing on the deck, playing ball with the boys, walking Daisy without 4 layers of clothes on! ENJOY the weekend everyone!

Where has everyone been this weekend? It's awful quite in these here parts!

My sister and her husband...they don't have kids....are flying to Orlando today! I SO wish I was going with them! They have never been and I told them they need a tour guide! They are staying in our timeshare...nondisney...but will still have an great time! My BIL is a little apprehensive. WHY would we want to go to WDW? We don't have kids, I don't ride coasters....blah blah blah. But my sis convinced him otherwise. I hope he relaxes and just ENJOYS it! I also hope she calls me a few times....just so I can sorta be there!

We are just hanging around this weekend cleaning up some stuff.

Started on the baby blanket for my nephew due to arrive in June -- had to call my brother and ask what colours I'd made the other ones as I couldn't remember and I wanted them to be different. Surprisingly my brother remembered to check! He's not good at remembering things sometimes.

Did you give him Birnbaum's guide 'WDW withjout kids'?
There's so much to do for adults. Anja & I even did some of the kids' stuff like Goofy's Barnstormer. The only thing we never did is that kiddy racetrack between Space Mountain and Extraterrorestrial Encounters (Stitch).

Yanno, I never thought of that one! I did tell her to get The Unofficial guide and I think he has ideas in there for a kidless vacation. I know they are doing the Luau one night, Jimmy Buffets and maybe the Adventurers club. Of course, their "travel agent"..ME..is only a phone call away!

DH and I go w/o kids now that our are "grown." We enjoy most things as we need to be kids some days to keep us young. If the lines are not long, we go on almost everything. Go to JellyRolls on the Boardwalk and we love AC but heard it is going to close.

What is Goofy's Barnstormer???

Goofy's Barnstormer is a little coaster in ToonTown. It's fun, but short.
I haven't heard from my sister, so I am assuming all is well!

and it is nice to "meet" some of the folks ahead of time!

We just got back from WDW (3/1-8) and have a few days left on our MYW tickets, so we'll probably fly down early on Friday, play in the parks and go over to Cape Canaveral on Saturday.

Question: what would be the best way to get from WDW to the dock?

The best way IMHO is either a TownCar or a Luxury Van. Which resort will you stay at?
