Hello Everyone:

We got back from our very 1st Disney Cruise yesterday! This was our 7th cruise together (2nd with dd). We had alot fun and not enough time to do everything! If you have been on this board before there are great detailed reviews out there so I will try to be brief.

PART I - ARE WE GOING ON A DISNEY CRUISE :scared: ?
Everything started about 1 month ago all of a sudden I wanted to get out of here and go on a cruise. But where?Did we have the funds?Time? After much debate, research and consideration with our CFO (dh) we (dd 2 1/2 and I )decided to go on a Disney Cruise much to CFO's horror:eek: !! He said yes but only if it was a 4 day cruise we agreed and the deal was done. We had about 3 weeks to pack our bags and that meant a trip to the Disney Store to check for any "end of the summer sale". I was sooo delighted to find great deals (t-shirts for $4.00, shorts for dh for $10.00, skirts for me and dd for about $3.00) I didn't go crazy just got a few things and some surprise toys for dd. Then we had to sit and wait for the days to go by. I cleaned the house, did laundry, took suitcases out of the closet, made lists and packing 2 weeks before the cruise! That's right folks! 2 weeks ! I couldnt' stand the excitement! Then something started to concern me. My daughter is only 2 1/2 (she will be 3 in February) she loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Winnie the Pooh, Little Eisteins (sp) but would she understand the whole princess thing? Would she understand the shows and characters? Well time for a "princess crash course" I rented a few dvds and bought some and we watched a few Disney Classics together. She loved Cinderella, Little Mermaid and Peter Pan she didn't care for Beauty and the Beast (my favorite) and off course I fast forwared a little bit when the beast was having his tantrums because she was a little scared. We didn't have time for Snow White and she didn't care for Sleeping Beauty. Huh? Would this cruise thing be fun for someone not that interested in characters? Then I made up a song. That's right folks, I am a mother, nurse, wife, cook, travel agent, closet organizer, and a song writer. While watching Little Eisteins I got the song in my had with the LE beat on it:

We're going on a trip on a big Disney Ship
Sailing thru the seas with Mickey and Minnieeeee
Climb aboard there's much to explore
There's so much to see with Mickey and Minieeee
C'mon le't go, with Mickey and Minieee

So, we sang that for 2 whole weeks non stop and it drove dh insane!!! :scared1: On October 1 we received the documents and 2 days later the DVD with a vacation package thingie ( ordered online) :cheer2: I checked in online but was not able to sign up dd for Oceanneer 's Club do to her age I had to do in person. Finally the day was here!!! October 14, 2007

PART II: EMBARKATION
I set the alarm for 7:30 but off course we got up late cause the thing didn't go off. We went to bed early (meaning me and dd) but I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep. I checked our 2 suitcases, packback with toys, playdough, crayons, snacks and juice and my purse with documents for 1 last time before snoozing. We got up at 8:00 am and were out of the house in the car by 8:46. I laid everything out the night before from breakfast to clothes and we just pack dd stuffed animal, toilletries and off we went. I ho I ho to the cruise we go!!!! I took us 1 hour from Tampa Bay to get on 528 West and another 1 hour from there to Pt Canaveral. We paid a total of $2.75 in toll to go and $2.50 for our return home. We got to port at exactly 10:45. As we turn into the Disney Terminal they have people to show you where to unload, where to park etc. You have to show your ID so have on hand. After unloading dh and dd (that's right folks, I am a mother, nurse, wife, cook, closet organizer, song writer and driver) We unload our 2 suitcases, stroller and the backpack with toys.( I am glad I brought this backpack it kept dd busy in our room (if she didn't want to watch tv) and we use it to take beach toys, sunscreen, cameras etc. to Castaway Cay) DH tiped the porter while I drove across the street, gave the parking attendant my cc and park by the white canopy because there's where you are coming from with your suitcases after you leave the ship. They have a big sign there warning passengers not to leave any open food or beverage containers in the car because of ant investation. Can you imagine coming home from a wonderful cruise and have your car invaded by ants:rotfl2: I met dh/dd by the security and up the elevator we went. So easy no lines. The cruise terminal is just beautiful, from floor to ceiling, there are people to help you with forms if you didn't have them filled out, there are tv, nice couches, tables for children to sit and color, a snack bar and lots of counter space for the check in process. Because dd is not quite 3 yet I had to go to Oceanner's club (inside the ship) speak to a manager in order to sign her up. But if your children are of age you can sign them in right there on the cruise terminal. It was 11:00 am when we checked in and we had boarding number 7 and we were called in around noon. :yay:

PART III: EMBARKATION/THE SHIP/BUFFET
After going thu Mickey's ears they run our Key to the World card and we waited in line for our embarkation pics. Some people didn't want pics and they skip the line and went straight thru the ship. The photographer helps you with your stroller and bags while you fix your family up for the pics. I just loved all the help from the minute you step in that cruise terminal till the end of the cruise. DD and I where jumping with excitement we took our pics and dh grab dd's hand and ran inside of the ship :yay: For someone who didn't want to be on a "Disney cruise" he was pretty excited. Ok, so if you have not read other reviews lets just say that Disney makes your boarding process pretty special. Like everyone says the ship is just beautiful, very classy, easy to navigate, clean a little worned out here and there but nothing to worry about. We went to Beach Blanket for lunch and by every elevator there was someone to direct you or help you with questions!!! Loved that!!! Do you know how many times dh and I boarded ships and had no idea where to go or no one to ask?Yea Disney! As soon as we step into the buffet line, someone came to help us with our stroller and bags, another cm gave us gel to wipe our hands, and then someone else handle us the tray. The buffet was very good, I had shimp, salmon, salad, fruit, didn't care for the Roast Beef (tasteless) at the end of the line someone handles your drink and we sat outside to enjoy the view and very windy conditions. We then went to Waveband to try to change our dining room time from 8:00 pm to 6:00. The maitre'd was very kind, the ship was full and because 6:00 pm is a very popular time to dine, he had to put us on a waiting list. That's one bad thing about booking the cruise last minute, you get whatever dining time is left. He promised a phone call to our call in case of an opening . We then left Wavebands turned the corner to go to Diversions so dh could watch some game. The bar is beautiful, he ordered some drinks and got few snacks (olives, salsa and chips) dd and I went to check the Oceanner's Club which was open for everyone. Dd played for a while, I checked her in (after speaking with the manager who wanted to make sure she was potty trained) she got her arm bracelet, I got my beeber and we left to find our room.

PART IV: OUR ROOM/DRILL/ WELCOME ABOARD SHOW:
We booked an inside cabin, on deck 5 which was just down the hall from the Oceanner's Club. I loved this location,it was quite the restaurants are 2 steps down, the buffet 4 floors up, and the atrium down the hall. Our room was ready and the decor was just beautiful (nautical). The bathroom seems smaller then usual but I think it is because of the bathtub. Our bags got in around 2:30th we (dd and I) unpacked. I found room for everything, our suitcases went underneath our bed, the backpack inside the closet, wallet and important documents in the safe. Our toilletrie bags had little hooks on it, which free the counter (which was pretty small). If you are high maintenance girl or boy it is a good idea to have a bag that you can hang on the towel bar or the good old shoe organizer to put your stuff in it. The bathroom amenites where shampoo, conditoner, body lotion and a bar of soap. Loved the shampoo and conditioner, didn't care for the body lotion and bar of soap. After we settled in we went for our the drill at Animator's Palate which started at 4:00 pm and finished around 4:15th. We went back to our room to drop the life vests and sure enough we had a message from the maitre d' but unfortunately there was no room at the 6:00 pm time slot. Well, well, we decided to go with the flow. Up to the deck 9 we went for the Welcome aboard party which started around 4:20 pm. Dd was an awe of the music booty shaking, and she stood right by the steps when the characters came down the steps then it finally click! We are on a Disney Cruise!!!Mommy look Chip and Dale Donald Duck where is Daisy??? It was soo cute. After the characters left everyone was still dancing around but we decided to go down to our room and get ready for the comedy show. We finally met our room attedant on the hallway, he couldn't shake hands because he was wearing gloves. He looked tired, and ready for a vacation. I can't remember his name, we didn't see anything in our room with his name on it and we saw him maybe 2 times. Everytime he was busy doing something, or going in and out of room. I tried to smile, wave hello, I also kept our room straighten out. I don't know, his attituted seemed like" I have had it with this job" but that didn't affect our vacation at all.

PART VI: SHOW/ DINNER:
We dropped dd off at the Oceanner's Club. As soon as you handle your key card they printed out your child's name and put on their t-shirt. Then they give them a little soap and they have to wash up before starting to play. I went in with dd, took her to the potty (sooo cute with little sinks), washed her hands and walked around with her a little bit. We said hello to the cm and she got excited to see the big slide. We left but return to take a look to see how she was doing. (First time parents people, never left dd with strangers before) let's just say we were very "offended" for the fact the didn't cry out mommy daddaaa!!!! and couldn't care less where we were. We got to the show a little late but we still enjoyed it. Michael Harrison is a comedian/ventriloquist and he was very funny. The show lasted about 1 hour (till 7:15pm) dh check the beeper ( from Oceanner's) about 60 times I kept reasurring him the thing would light up, vibrate, talk loudly whatever it had to do to get our attention. Few minutes later a message came. He looked at me with a "I told you so" look, the message read as follows: "Princess is a little upset and asking for mommy. We are working with her.: Dh's reaction: C'mon! Let's pick her up. I said no ,relax! They will tell us to pick her up. Few minutes later. "Princess is fine, and playing with toys". Then I looked at him with an " I told you so look. We picked her up around 7:20 when she saw us she gave us a bear hug, it was sooo cute. I asked her: So, did you have fun? (Dd) Yea, but I cried! I went mommy, mommy! (with a big smile on her face) but then I stopped. Ok, off we went to get ready for dinner at Tritons. As we were leaving the club, who do we see taking pictures at the Atrium? Cinderella!!! Yeah!. Mommy, Cinderella!! I need my dress. So we runed to our room, put her dress on her, fix her hair up and off we went to see Cinderella!! Dd was sooo excited , she runed to Cinderella's arms and said hello! Off course we videotaped it, tooks pics, after a nice hug and goodbyes we had to change her again because the dress was too uncomfortable. Therefore, she wore it only once. Once we got to Tritons we met our tablemates who were very nice, a family from Chicago with their 18 month daugther, and a mom/daugther on their 3rd Disney cruise (first cruise together w/out dad). We were kind of relieved that we had small children on our table because dd can't sit still. I got admit dinner is my least favorite part of the cruise with her. She doesn't eat, (as soon as she steps on the ship she goes on a diet) not even junk food. She took a bite here and there of meat, and veggies but that was about it. I loved the fact that they had booster seats, small forks, plates and coloring paper with crayons for the children. The cups were covered so if you have little ones you don't have to bring anything at dinner except patiences. Dinner lasted about 1 hour 20 minutes (8:00 pm to 9:20th). Before leaving I asked the waiter for some milk, which we ketp in our fridge. We went up to the room to put her to bed then dh went to Diversions again and then Buena Vista Theatre (which was on our floor not far from our room) to watch Underdog (he didn't like it). I stayed in our room to read the Navigator and see what we were going to do in Nassau.

DAY 1 MONDAY- NASSAU:
Sunrise: 7:08 am (never saw it)
Set: 6:43 on (we were inside of ship watching Hercules)
Ashore: aprox 9:45 am (changing inside of cabin)
All aboard: 7:00 pm
Evening Attire: Dress-Up Night (no tux or sparkly dress, no denim either just nice pants, nice summer dress)
Dinner: Animator's Palate Show Dinner (awesome)
Drink of the Day Planter's Punch (didn't try)

We got up around 9:00 am, changed, got my big purse(like a bag) got by cameras, sunscreen, magazine went up to t Beach Blanket for breakfast and grabed a chair by Mickey's Pool. We were in Nassau twice before (did Atlantis, toured Nassau and Straw Market) so we stayed on the ship. Origingally I wanted to go to Adastra Gardens but changed my mind. Mickey's Pool is awesome for little kids. I never got to read my magazine or laid out on the sun, dd didn' want to take any pictures, but wanted to go down the slide with me ( she is too short, me too big they don't allow it). She didn't want me to follow her around (you stay right here mommy) me go there (other side of pool). She walked, she splashed, she laughed, she cried when we left to crab a bite to eat. I offered her fries, pizza, juice, salad, cookies, money, etc.. Nope, just little juice bit of pizza, 5 olives slices from pizza and back to pool. Around 1:00 pm till 1:45 pm dh went to Ping Pong Tourment, dd went to Club for Aladdin's Adventures (about 30 minutes then she stayed for another hour) I can't remember what I did. At 3:15 dh took her to Animator 's Palate for Family Kite Making and at 3:45 pm they went up to deck 9 to see Donald and Daisy. She took a late nap we ate snack from room service and at 6:00 pm we left her at the Club for Do-Si-do With Snow White while we went to see Hercules the Muse-Ical, very funny. Around 6:50 the beeber lights up Princess wants to be picked up. Huh, I wonder why? Dh goes to pick her up and brings her back to see rest of show (last 15 minutes or so). After the show I asked what was the problem, princess didn't like Snow White!!! she wanted to see Cinderella. So stayed in the club today for about 2 hours not bad. As we headed back to our room to change for dinner, we stopped at Shutters to see our Welcome Aboard picture, it came out sooo cute. If you don't collect all of your pictures they put them in a box outside of shutters so if you decide to buy it you can do so at the last day. Dinner was at Animator Palate, sooo cute don't miss it. After dinner we went to bed (yeap we are party animals). I waited till princess slept so I could pack our backpack for Castaway Cay, I didn't want to miss it. I left everything laid out so all we had to do was to get up, get dressed, eat and go.

DAY 2 TUESDAY - CASTAWAY CAY:woohoo:
Sunrise: 7:09 am
Sunste :6:42 pm
Ashore: Aprox 8:30 am
All aboard: 5:00 pm
Evening Attire: Pirate or Cruise Casual
Dinner Menu: Pirates IN the Caribbean (very good)
Drink of the Day: Sting Ray (loved it)

Woke up at 8:00 am, changed, grabbed bag and off to Beach Blanket we went. We left the ship around 9:15th, no lines, no waiting. Make sure you everybody's (including children) key to the world card, AND picture ID for the adults (18 and older). As you walk off the ship you see the post office right in front of you, there will be an cm handling clean towels. You walk a little further down and the trolley is there waiting to take you to the beach. Maybe you read this before but if you want to take a picture with Captain Jack Sparrow he will be downstairs for pics from 9:15 am 9:45 am, you have to walk (don't take trolley) to your left, past little bridge and there is a spot for him with his name and all. It is easy to see and you can't miss it. The trolley drops you off by the little town. There is a place to sign the kids for Scuddle Cove (where you can sign up little ones just like Oceanners). Even if you child is signed up for Oceaners or the Lab you have to sign them up again at the beach if you want to drop them off . They have a lot of activities for the children but they don't take them to the beach. After Scuddle Cove you pass by a small store, bathrooms, and the beach is to your left. When we got to the family beach it was almost empty. So if you want a hammock and you are cruising in October or any "off season", get to the beach around 9:20th or so and you will find plenty of empty spots. I am glad we brought a small beach bucket for my daughter to play, along with the kite, and off course cameras, sunscreen, etc. The water was cool, and we played for about 1 hour and 1/2. Around 11:30 am we left a few things by our chair (just took the cards and cameras) and went for lunch. It was delicious. We were one of the first one in line and but noon the line was longer but it moved quickly because Disney people are smart and they set up different buffets stations (same food). We had chicken, ribs, cole slaw, fruit, ice cream and off course they have an atttendant handling everyone wipes before lunch. We walked around a bit, took pictures with Goofy went digging for dinossaurs bones, watch the crab race from 12:00-12:30 (don't miss it is sooo cute ) and we were going to sign her up for Scuttles Cove but she was tired and sleepy. Dh needed a nap so he went back to the ship and I stayed behind for pictures and videotaping. As I returned to the ship there was like a party in our room, books all over the floor, tv on, dd was half dressed, and dh dressed and laying in bed half asleep. What happened to the nap? I asked (she didn't want one he repplies). Oh! Did you give her a bath put jammies on her, gave her some milk, read her a story, and shut all the lights. DH: Ah! Well I gave her a bath, she took her pjs off, and we were going to get some milk downstairs together. To which I repply: put her pj's back on, shut the light off I will go get the milk. After I returned with milk in hand little princess was still jumping off the walls but she finally slept and I left (both of them sleeping) with my magazine in hand and went to the adults pool for some rest. I ordered a drink (Sting Ray) and snoozed away.

When we woke up it was time to change to go to the show. After a quick snack we took dd to see show with us. The Golden MickeysShow is beaufitul. I am glad to report that dd sat thru the whole thing and loved it. We ate dinner at Animator's Palate again but without the show. After dinner we runed upstairs for the pirate party. The deck gets pack, if you want to shake your booty you might want to go center stage. If not stay upstairs for pics and good view. A lot of people were seating on the chairs when we got there so we stood up the whole time. The show is cute, lots of dancing and lots of people in pirate costumes. After show, the music still goes on, they serve turkey legs, and desserts. Dh and daughter went back to room while I crabbed some dessert (delicious). The Party starts at 9:45 till 10:45 pm the characters come dress as pirates and the last part of show mickey mouse comes to save the day. If you are not party animals like us  have a little patience and stick around it is cute. Personally I don't see the point of trying to teach hundreds of people dance steps, it looks like a confusing aerobics class, but hey it was alot of fun to watch it.

I have to stop now, my daughter is totally destroying my house. I will try to post more later. Please forgive my grammar I don't have time to go back and read this thing over again. I just want to get it over with while my mind is fresh.

Excellent trip report! So detailed!

Did you say there was a T-shirt given to your daughter when you signed up for the Oceaneer's Club?

And my DDs also love Cinderella, but cannot stand Snow White. Poor Snow. Where did she go wrong?

DAY 3 - SEA DAY
Dinner: Parrot Cay
Evening Attire: Cruise Casual

No schedule day, sleep late and relax. We enjoyed the ship, went to Shuttler to see rest of pictures, had breakfast at Parrot Cay because Beach Blanket was already closed. We left dd at Oceanners's for about 1 hour while we watched Ratatouillepopcorn:: it was hilarious (they called us and I went to pick her up before movie was over so I still have to see the end dh loved it). I started to pack:sad1: and dh came by the room to finish reading his book. At 4:15 or so I took dd back to Oceaners for her graduation prep, it lasted about 30 minutes. Next time I won't stick around, she didin't pay attention, didn't follow instrutions and wanted to keep taking pictures of every little thing with her disposable camera (big mistake of mine when I brought with us). I ended up living her there and waiting outside. They left thru the back door to go to the Disney Theathre and I was able to film her walking hand in hand with another little girl. My rebelious child refuse to put her graduation t-shirt and hat but at least she wasn't crying. I went straight to the Theatre and got some good seats for me and hubby. The graduation was really cute, all the kids that were in the clubs participated, they sang songs, and we watched thier pictures on the big screen . Rebellious child sat right up front with her back to the audience:rolleyes1 . The cm was smart enough to sit by her and I saw some lip movement and poiting to the theatre I think she was reasurring dd that we were in the audience watching her. I am glad to report that she didn't cry or picked her nose  The graduation lasted about 30minutes at the end guess who comes by? Mickey and Minnie Mouse:yay: After the graduation we went to pick her up at the Oceanner's Club, couldn't find her because all the kids were there but hey she found us:love: Let's see I think we went back to our room to change for the show. Don't miss it!!!!! Disney Dreams is just dreamy! You feel like a little kid again. DD cried at the end cause she didn't want to leave! I think we took pictures with a character I don't remember which or where anyways, dinner was at Parrot Cay and I really like it. At 10:00 pm it everyone gathers at the Atrium to say goodbye to the cast. We got there at 9:30 pm and waited. I ended moving up stairs for a better view with my camera, while dh tried to stay behind the rope with dd to no avail, she crossed the rope, wanted to play with it a cm came by and started to chat with her. She made some funny faces to him :dance3: and he made funnier faces to her (is funnier a word? ) anyways this went about 10 minutes. He was sooo sweet, she wanted to help him close the ropes and he let her, she sat on the steps and he sat right by her just chatting. When the show was about to start she wouldn't stay still so dh went to meet me upstairs. The open the doors Belle, Snow White, Cinderella, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale, Captain Hook, Wendy and Peter Pan, and some of the cast members came running down the steps. They spread out thu the atrium floor and 4th floor for about 30 minutes you could take pictures, get autographs, and chat a little with them. The only difference between this and "character greeting" is that they didn't have the professional photographer there, it is just you and your camera. After the 30 minutes they gather at the steps again for a last good bye don't miss this part!!!! Off they went!!! :sad1: Since I had everyone packed we went back to our room dd was out within 5 minutes and we finish our last minute stuff.

DISEMBARKATION:
Got up at 7:30 am, shower, dressed, went to Parrot Cay for breakfast around 8:15 am and left the ship around 9:00 am. Just walked off the ship, down the elelvator, got our bags, went thru immigration, and at 9:20 we were in our car at 9:30 am we were on 528 heading home. Last year on Carnival Glory it took us 2 hours to get on the ship and maybe 3 to get off!!! I always heard people referring to disembarkation as "cattle drive"and now I know what it means:) But not on this trip we were so relaxed and just walked off the ship.

FINAL TOUGHTS /TIPS:
- pack only what you need, I packed 2 outfits for my daughter per day. Put they inside ziplock bags and it was so easy to get outfits out and start our day.
- if you need ironing it is on deck 6 forward I think
- get to shows early (10 minutes)
-get to character greeting at least 15 minutes early
- don't miss the "red carpet arrival" at the Golden Mickey bring your video camera
- if you forget to ask your room stewart for milk, get it upstairs and the beverage station by the beach blanket buffet
- don't forget small change, and always leave some cash in your wallet. Dh put our waiter's tip in his shorts pocket but we didn't see him on the last night (he was at room service), we were planning to catch our waiter the next morning for breakfast at Parrot Cay and sure enough I packed hubby's shorts with the money inside of it. The next morning when dh was changing he remembered the tip on his short's pocket but off course the bags were already gone but we had change in our wallet. So it saved the day.
- every time I dropped dd at Oceanner's I took her to the potty myself. She couldn't quite reach the toillet (they didn't have step stool) and I had to help her a little bit. She loved to wash her hands in the little sinks and did it all by herself. She was fine there, there are very kind, patience and loving.
- The food for us was not up to par. They need to step it up a couple of notches.
- Everyone on this ship from the bathroom attendant to a the cruise director were extremely kind and attentive to all the children. They always stoped and chat, they asked how was your day etc... Very sweet.
- dd had no trouble sleeping on the sofa bed, (she still sleeps on a crib at home) since she moves alot during the night, I put a couple of pillows around her, along with the seatee and coffe table to kinda hold her in. We didn't have any problems. We brought a small air mattress for her but we didn't need to use. We also brought a sip cup for milk, her blanket and stuffed animal.
- as far as the shows they were excellent. Dd loved Golden Mickeys and Disney Dreams we didn't take her to see the Ventroloquist and Hercules she would not have stayed.
- loved to see other children's expressions when they saw the characters, loved to wows, aahs during shows.
This was a great fun for us, there are things that my husband didn't like compared to other cruise lines BUT we enjoyed ourselves imensely and I would definetly cruise with Disney again.

Happy Cruising everyone!! Sorry for the long review I just kept typing everything that I remembered!

Thanks! NeedACruise (loved your screen name). They gave t-shirts to all the children that participated on the club on the last day for the "graduation". :) I loved Snow White she was so pretty:) , we took a picture with her but dd wasn't too happy. As we were strolling down the hall one day we met Belle in her "day attire" reading her book. We stopped for pics she was so gracious and kind, first thing that comes out of dd's mouth is "Where is Cinderella? Belle just smiled and said Cinderella was resting and she would tell her that dd said hello :)

Love your trip report. I'll be cruising the Wonder next September with 4 grandchildren (and parents). You mentioned that your DD is 2.5 years. I thought children had to be 3.0 years and potty trained to go into the Oceaners Club. Have they changed the requirements?

Heading to the Wonder in 3.5 hours!

Thanks Jan:

Before signing dd up I spoke to a OC manager which said it would be ok for dd to stay (can't remember her name) they say it's ok if the child is about 2 or 3 months away from being 3 years old and child needs to be potty trained. Please note that I signed her up inside of the ship and not on port. DD did very well, I took her to the potty before starting the program because she couldn't quite reach the toillet:) and she never had any accidents. They were very kind and loving with the children and she had a good time. I hope you enjoy your trip! Happy cruising!

Great report - may I ask you in what areas you were disappointed compared with other cruises you have been on? We are considering a Disney cruise with our toddler, but only have one Princess cruiseline experience with which to compare - how did you find the amenities measure up? Thanks for any input!
