My family will be sailing on the Dream out of Miami this week, staying at the Hampton Miami Brickell the night prior. Long-time cruiser on other lines but first time on DCL. We're planning to take the shared hotel shuttle to the port, which is offered at 10:00 and 12:00. Our boarding time is 12:30. Is there any point in taking the 10:00 shuttle (i.e., any chance of getting on the ship much earlier than 12:30), or would the 12:00 make the most sense as that should likely get us there around 12:30? TIA for your insights!

Our boarding time is 12:30.
Your PAT is 12:30, which is the Port Arrival Time. Your boarding group is a number, not a time and likely to occur a little later than 12:30. I would take the noon shuttle because it corresponds quite well with your PAT; if you take the earlier one you will just be hanging out at the terminal possibly waiting to check-in or at least waiting for your boarding group to be called.

The 'all PAT's at Miami wasnt until after your personal PAT for both my Miami cruises last month. I d personally rather be half an hour after my PAt at the port than 2h before... especially cause Miami makes you wait outside in an area with nothing to do/see/sit if your PAT hasn't been called yet
