1 year 11 months - no DDP for him so now what?

my husband and I and our 2 daughters (5 and 4 ) will have the DDP but what about my son who will be one month shy of his 2nd birthday?

How do CS and snack time and TS and buffett work for him please?

for cs and snacks, you just buy what you want and pay out of pocket or have him share yours for free and with buffets he eats off your plate for free.

Definitely just share. I don't know about your children, but my girls were 5 and 4 during our last trip (and thus on the DDP) and it was a lot of food for them. We could have easily squeaked a third kid in on what they were eating without a problem.

When my girls were younger and not on the DDP, I would bring some snacks and drinks in that they liked. I think I may have even packed a PB&J a time or two, but that was the only special preparation I made. I also vaguely remembering order a side dish of something in one restaurant. It was easy, though.

Last August, during free dining, we took my DD2 when she was 25 months old so she wasn't on the DDP either. I planned alot of buffets so that we wouldn't have to pay OOP for her. But she was given a free toddler meal at Akershus and CRT, i think both times we picked mickey shaped ravioli. I would think that you could ask when making ADR if they offer the free toddler meals.
And if you really have your heart set on eating somewhere specific, just plan to pay OOP, they really aren't priced too badly. That's what we ended up doing with the 50's Prime Time Cafe.

In 2006 we were on the DDP. My DD didn't qualify as she was under 3 yrs old too. Basically she would eat a bit off everyone's plates...mine, DHs and DS's. We always ordered her own beverage, and the only place that charged us for milk was Whispering Canyon. I didn't expect the free beverage, but it was nice. I never knew about the free toddler meals, but there was always more than enough food that even with sharing with her we all left full.

When we went last Fabruary DS was 2 1/2 and we had so many credits that we never really had to pay for a meal. DS and DD would share a meal, and even at Akerhaus he got his own meal with no charge. Buffets we just made him his own plate.
