1 Week Photopass

I want to purchase the 1 week photopass from the disneyland website, but does anyone know when it begins?
I don't want to get it and find out that it expires before we use it, but I also want to purchase things now before our trip as it helps me budget.

Do you realize that you get Photopass included if you purchase Genie+?

As the previous poster said photopass is included for Genie+ but I have also purchased the 1 week photopass in 2021 (before Genie+ started) and that starts as soon as you activate it by linking your first Photopass picture in the parks. I bought it about 5 days or so before I left on my trip.

It costs me more than the photo pass and I don’t enjoy using it and won’t use it so it’s a waste of money

I think just one person can purchase Genie+ and use it for Photopass. I believe this might be cheaper than Photopass, so worth looking into.

Oh, that's better. I think Photopass used to cost more years ago (before it was included in MaxPass/Genie+).

I bought it from the site (the Photopass one I think) a few days before but you could probably buy it whenever. Then when I had my first picture taken by a photopass photographer I linked the card they gave me after the photographer took the picture and the photopass I bought was then activated.

You do not have to purchase the 1 week photopass ahead of time. After your trip, review your photos and decide if you wish to purchase them. Select a photo from your first day. You will be given the option to purchase just that photo or purchase 1 week of photos. Just be sure to select a photo from the first day so your 1 week starts at the right day.
