1 Table Service = 2 Counter Service?

Does anyone know if they will offer this again for Free Dining period? There are some nights I just cannot get into anywhere we want to.

No word on that yet. At this point, you are best off finding a place where you can make a reservation, even if it means using TS credits at Boatwrights, Yacht Club Galley, Shutters or Olivia's, which often are still available while other restaurants aren't any longer.

I heard that they officially ended the program of being able to trade points between meals, like converting 2 CS to 1 TS or going the other way. It used to be something you could do, but now TS means TS and CS means CS. You cannot move them around.

Actually, it was a limited time offer, only offered during the free dining period, in 2006. It allowed you to convert 1 TS into 1 CS, plus two snacks and a lanyard. It never allowed converting any number of CS into TS (and if it did, it probably would likely have been 3CS or 4CS for 1TS).

Again, that was a limited time offer, and there hasn't been any indication that they'll make that offer again this year (yet).

However, even beyond the limited time offer, some front desks sometimes have agreed to allow some guests, under certain circumstances, to convert 1TS into 1CS (no snacks, no lanyard). A pretty bad exchange rate, but at least they'll sometimes allow some guests to do it, on request.

I take it you can't use a TS at a CS place, lol..... My son is super picky and basically eats hot dogs, lol. I already have like 2 TS ressie for our 5 day trip but figured we'd do the CS more because it's fast and he doesn't eat alot. Oh well......
