Yes for the shakes as well In 2009 my kids ordered shakes at most of the TS places. I believe 50's PT was the pb&J shake that my DD looooved!!! We were on free dining! Enjoy!!
You dont have to have the deluxe dining to do this. I ordered a PB&J shake as my drink then a dessert (which I gave to my tablemates) and was on the regular plan

From what i've read, you can have a milkshake for both drink and dessert. Heard lots about these, looking forward to trying them for myself in a months time. Bah, i'll start the diet when i get back....
The general rule is that you can pretty much order anything that comes through a straw as your drink on the dining plan, as long as it isn't alcoholic. =)

You can substitute the potato on any of the meals. I don't really like mashed potatoes very much, so I subbed some sort of cheesy potatoes with the fried chicken
