My DS and I will be at WDW for 12 days and we want to do US/IOA. How many days will it take us to do both parks, 1 or 2 days? This is excluding WWOHP, DS is not a Harry Potter fan. TIA

Even without any interest in WWoHP, I recommend two days at Universal. I still think you should try it--Forbidden Journey is a one-of-a-kind attraction. Dragon Challenge is also terrific if you like thrill coasters.

I'm not a fan of Song of the South but I still like Splash Mountain, lol.

Actually, he's afraid of all the Harry Potter stuff. Unfortunately an older, very religious adult in the family scared him talking about wizardry and spirits and the like, so now he doesn't want anything to do with it. I told him that's it's not scary but he will not hear any of it. The damage has been done:sad2: So Harry Potter is definitely out.

In that case, I agree. FJ has several elements designed to scare.

Yes, but that is the only thing in the Wizarding World that is in the least bit scary. The Flight of the Hippogriff is a great family coaster and actually walking through the Wizarding World is beautiful. What a great opportunity to slowly show him that it is fun.

If he is afraid of wizardry(magic) and spirits and the like, you might also want to avoid the Mummy, MIB, Poseidan's Fury, Haunted Mansion and Mickey's Philharmagic at MK, Little Mermaid and the Beauty and the Beast stage show at Hollywood Studios.

He's not afraid of the other stuff, he will even watch it on TV but because this family member used Harry Potter specifically, is the reason he's afraid of it. He actually loved Philharmagic last year:lovestruc. I think we will use 2 days to visit US/IOA since we will be in Orlando for so many days.
