1 Gallon Zip-loc Freezer Bags

I brought one of these bags to Six Flags Great America this past monday. I am bringing several to WDW in two weeks. I put the camera in it along with my wallet to keep them waterproof during the water rides. And I am sure it wouldn't hurt during an infamous Orlando rain shower.

My wife keeps our "stuff" in a backpack when at the parks but it's not water resistant. I think a gallon Zip-loc bag is a good idea to keep stuff dry!

Yes! Gallon size Zip-Lock bags are great. With my 2 DD's, I put a set of clothes and pair of socks in a bag for each day. When it was time to get dressed in the morning, they just picked a bag. It also keeps wrinkles down.

Not only do we use Ziploc bags, but we applied ScotchGuard spray to the backpack too. It worked really well for us last September. It rained everyday, but we had no damage to anything in our bag. Mickey

We use the 2 gallon size, they're hard to find though, to pack. Everything goes in a ziploc. Now we don't have to worry about any leaks from lotions, etc. It is amazing how much you can squeeze in!

They are definitely good for anything that might "leak". Just wish I'd thought of this back in 1998 when hairspray spilled all over the inside of my bag!

When packing, I put undies, socks and pj's into the zip lock bags. It makes me feel better for the purposes of airport baggage inspections, but also makes those items take up much less space in the suitcase once the air is squeezed out. And finally leaving items in the baggies makes them easier to find in the hotel room drawers.

I found the 2 gallon bags @ Superfresh.
Another tip: Put your ice in the bags first, then in the cooler, then when it melts simply empty out the water then refill with ice, neat!
