1 double or 2 single strollers?

I would take one single stroller for the younger one and they could take turns if the older in needed to sit occasionally. I really disliked taking my big double stroller in the buses when the kids were 1 and 3. When they were 3 and 5 I took two MacLaren Volo strollers and that worked good. Didn't take strollers after they were both over 5.

If u use the connectors do u use the same type if umbrella stroller or different? We r thinking of 2 umbrellas with the connectors. Mainly so we can break up if needed, maneuver in stores easily but want to use connectors so when we park them we will b looking for only one stroller instead of two
