We are planning to spend only 1 day at IoA next week (probably next Tuesday). We are staying at Disney (no plans to change that) and will take the Mears shuttle over. Does anyone have any idea what the crowds might be like that day (it's mid-week, but I also know it's the day after Veterans Day so maybe there will be more people there)? Do you think it would be worth our while to pay for the Express Pass (which would be an additional $30 for that day)? I don't mind waiting a little bit, as long as we get to do most of the park. It's been several years since I was there last, and we definitely want to hit up WWoHP. Any suggestions?

Wait until you check out the lines yourself before purchasing. If they are only $30/per person, that should indicate lower crowds.

Thanks! I didn't realize that we could add the Express Pass later. We'll play it by ear and see if we need it. Here's hoping for low crowds!

Well we've just got back from Orlando on Friday. Usually we go at Easter and have in the past needed to buy express pass (which I disagree with anyway), but while we were there we didn't have to buy one at all. First day we visited IOA and the longest wait was about 15 minutes, then the studios we did the day after and again didn't buy a pass and didn't have long wait times. We visited again on the day before Halloween and did both parks, we started at studios purely because we wanted to do the MUMMY and it was closed the previous week, Rockit was actually 50 minutes I think as we left so we went next door to IOA which was again 10/15 mins max wait time and in fact duelling dragons.....oops dragon challenge and Hulk were both WALK ON.....so mine rode them constant until they felt rough!!!
So, I am thinking now, it's not going to be any kind of holiday I I doubt you would need express pass.
