1 day per park enough?

Hi all,


We are planning a split stay trip in August 09! This will be our 1st time to Universal - we did Disney in 06 for 8 nights. Planning a split trip this time - thinking of Staying in Universal for 3 nights - i'd love to spend a 1/2 day at the pool as well - we will be staying at one of the parks in Universal - probably the least expensive - so which park needs more time? is 1 full day enough for each park or does 1 park have more t do over the other?

Generally, people stay for three days. One day for Universal Studios and one for Islands of Adventure and the last day to go between both parks and do any faves or attractions you missed out on the first time round

I could quite easily stay at Universal Orlando for a week, but one day for each park and if you can a possible third, is ideal.

As your kids like scary rides, they will be in their element at islands of adventure. They will have a blast.

Two to three days would be good and if you can swing it...try to stay onsite at one of the three hotels. You will LOVE the unlimited Express access you'll receive and since they are so close, you can go back to the pool or take a nap and then go back to the parks without too much trouble.
