"You can even visit both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park with your special event ticket during Mickey's Halloween Party—entry to either park begins 3 hours before the event officially starts."


Yep, I'd say the Halloween Party ticket is the way to go for a one day visit on a party day. Especially if you can add Max Pass for your time in DCA. For me, I could probably knock off most of what I wanted to do at DCA in 3 hours. Whether the 5 hours of the party would be enough time to do what I wanted in DL, I guess that would depend on the crowds.

Party goers last year reported that MP was included in their MHP ticket. I've read reports that it will be included in the party tickets this year, too, but have not read official confirmation of that yet.

We are also going to be in CA in oct and have one day to visit the parks, and have decided to go to a Halloween party. We’ll go to DCA first and do what we can get done there in 3 hours, then head to Disneyland. I think we’ll hit as many rides as possible, walk through a few treat trails, try to see the Cadaver Dans, and catch the later parade (we don’t really care about meeting characters). We are super excited!
