1 day park hopper upgrade?

I was wondering if it's possible to upgrade a 1 day park hopper to a 2 day and just pay the difference? Or do we have to buy another 1 day park hopper ticket? DH's company is giving us 1 day park hopper tickets but we'd like to go another day on our own.

You can upgrade but only if there is a value assigned to your current ticket. Stop by the ticket booths anytime your first day and ask about an upgrade.
