The whole family had stayed at the beach for Thanksgiving, and were getting ready to head back North. Daughter was flying back to college in Maryland on a very ealy morning flight, so we stayed near the airport and got her on the flight first thing. Our flight was supposed to leave about 1:00, but something happened to the plane and it was pushed back until 4:00 very early in the morning. As a result, we headed to the World.
We toyed with going to a character breakfast, but decided to eat Breakfast at Port Orleans. We went to the Riverside Mills Food Court and had a great breakfast. Afterwards we did some shopping at the gift shop, and then went to Disney Springs.
We parked, and kind of split up. My wife went shopping, and my son and I went on the Characters in Flight Balloon ride. It took a while, but was pretty neat. The views of Disney Springs were fantastic, but the rest of the parks were a little to far away - it wasn't much different than looking around riding Everest.
We got a picture, did a little shopping and then headed out. Unexpected Bonus day at the World.
