1 day hopper for 6/30 doable????

How crazy would I be to try to do DL and DCA in one day on 6/30/08?

It would just be me and my DH.

We want to do about 7 things in each park.

What does DCA have a night a parade? show? fireworks?

My dh and I did this in December, if you get there early enough and use fastpass well, you shouldn't have a problem. Although at the end of the day we were exhausted!

DCA has an early evening/late afternoon parade centered around Pixar films and they also have the Electrical Parade later in the evening.

I'm sure you could, but it would depend on what those 7 things are you wanted to do. Use the fast passes well, and you should be fine. However, you might be really rushed, and you might not "soak up the experience" quite the same if you had added a second day.

Plus- keep the crowds and the heat in mind. It will tire you out quicker, and you will be stuck in longer lines. Definitely something to keep in mind!

Yes!

Two big tips:
1) You are able to be holding FPs for a DL ride and a DCA ride at one time.

2) Also Roger Rabbit and Grizzly River Run FPs are unnetworked, so you can get a FP for those even if you are already holding a FP for another attraction.

I think its doable. You'll be tired.

1. Make PS's for the lunch restaurant of your choice at DCA or GCH. Make PS for dinner restaurant of your choice at DL (7:00-7:30) Buy your hopper ahead of time.
2. Plan on being at the DL gates at 7:30 am.
2. Ride your top 7 rides, or get FP for them. Check Hydroguy's sticky about maximizing your time. Don't ride Pirates or HM. Don't use any of your fastpasses.
3. Hop over to DCA about 11. Get a FP for Grizzley (disconnected.) Get a FP for Tower or Soaring, if they are on your list. Ride Soarin, TT, California Screaming, (in that order and you didn't FP them) if they are on your list. Eat lunch at your PS time.
4. Finish off your DCA list. Use your fastpasses. Use your GrizzleyFP last. Dry off.
5. Go to GCH lobby for a drinkie poo and a rest.
6. Go to DL. Ride Pirates, HM, and any rides you have FP for. Have dinner at your PS time.
7. Go to DCA about 8:45 to see Electrical Parade. Go back to DL to see fireworks (this is cutting close, I'll admit--there are threads on this board about where to watch EP so you can beat the rush to DL.)
8. After fireworks, take Big Thunder Trail to ROA to see 10:30 Fantasmic.
