Hi, I have a trip in January planned for Universal Studios only(we were in WDW for 9 days in 2019). We’ll be there 6 days including travel (arriving from California returning to a Ireland). I really would like to do ROR tho…… any suggestions on best place to buy 1 day ticket from Ireland? I know it’s expensive to buy for one day but I really want to do this ride! Thanks!

Order on-line directly from Disney.
(Or check the price from a European seller.)
In general, there are no discounted 1-day tickets available from regular WDW discounters.

If that's the case, order your one-day tickets on-line directly from the www.disneyworld.com website.

Regardless of where you get your ticket, just HAVING a one-day ticket (AND getting a park reservation for DHS) does not assure you of getting a Boarding Group for RotR.
The ticket/park pass will allow you a chance of getting the Boarding Group time.
But be aware that is about THE most sought-after single event/ride at WDW, and actually getting the desired outcome
is about the most difficult to achieve, especially with just a one-day opportunity.

Read post #1 and maybe the last two or three pages of this thread and then practice at home! (You don't need a ticket to practice.) The advice here has helped many people successfully obtain a BG for RotR!

And remember that you can try both at 7am and at 1pm. Many have been successful at the 1pm drop if unable to get a BG at 7. Good luck!
