Good morning all! it has been a long time since i have been on the disboards, 9 years as a matter of fact! I am looking for some advice. Family and i are traveling to universal may 11-15 we have never been. My question is this, i have 2 full days in the parks, 1 for each park and we have a half day planned just for additional harry potter time, the 3rd full day we are there we are going to epcot for the day. I am starting to second guess myself and wonder if i should have added a 3rd day. Its to late to change but am just curious what everyone thinks. My kids are 18 and 20 so i think there are some things we will be skipping over. Any thoughts or suggestions would by so helpful. Thanks its fun to be back and reading everything!

I think that sounds fine. I don't think you'll be skipping over too much. That time shouldn't be very busy in the parks, so you'll be able to get a lot done.

Are you staying onsite with FOTL express? If so, then you should be able to do pretty much everything. We usually do 3 days, but that's with younger kids and we always leave the park mid day for a long pool break. Our 3rd day is usually for doing things we love again, or seeing a show or two we missed. You should be able to cover a lot of ground with older teens - so I also think 2 days will be enough - maybe not to do every single thing in both parks - but still a ton of fun!:goodvibes
On site or not, be there before your allowable entry time and take advantage of the early morning hours - those 1st 2/3 hours are always less crowded anytime of the year.:thumbsup2

great! thank you so much. We are staying at Cabana Bay- which looks great and its new! so no express pass and we opted not to purchase them. We do have the early entry and we plan on spending Sunday afternoon when we arrive until park closing exploring Harry Potter, so I think its all good! I am super excited for this trip, it was very spur of the moment!

Your plan sounds fine :thumbsup2

Cabana Bay looks really nice.....hope you have a wonderful trip :)
