I'm sneaking away from WDW for a day on my upcoming vacation (should be at USO on May 31) and I'm thinking about getting a 1 day, 2 park ticket. While I love USO, and there have been some changes to US since I was last there, the real reason I'm going over is for WWoHP at IA. How feasible is it to do both parks in just one day, giving WWoHP it's due time? :confused3 I'm not a roller coaster person, so I would be skipping over Dragon Challange, the Hulk, and Rip Ride Rocket, but I also wouldn't go on Rip Saw Falls, Jurassic Park, and Dr. Doom's Fear Fall. I'm also going with a first-timer, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey there. Based on what you've said, it can definitely be done. We went last September for two days on a 2-park pass. We got to IOA about 1pm the first day and bounced to US and back to IOA for the water rides just before close (6pm). The next day we didn't make it to the park until about 9am and were literally ready to leave by 3pm, having done everything we wanted to do, some more than once (WWOHP 3 times, Hulk 3+ times). It was our first time ever to IOA and first time to US in over 10 years.

Because you'll be there at a busier time of year, I'd recommend getting there as early as possible, hitting Olivanders (if you want to see the wand selection) first, then FJ. After that, just take care of everything you want to see and do at both parks all day and I bet you'll be ready to leave by the time the park closes, if not earlier.

Oh, one last thing - we stayed on property for that one night, so we had Express Pass for everything except WWOHP (Rip Ride Rock-It was closed while we were there). So I might recommend investing in Express Pass if you aren't staying on property and want to make sure you're not standing in long lines all day.
