Hi, just wanted to know if anyone has stayed in cabin #8534 on the Disney magic, it looks bigger than other 1 bedroom site's on the website, also I see it's close to the elevator, what about noise? Thanks

We have stayed in that room , 8534, on the sister ship the Wonder. We nick named it the "triple wide" as the verandah is the length of 3 regular verandahs. The other cat T suites have verandahs that are double. I think the room is the same size as the other cat T suites, but at a different orientation. The orientation of the room is more parallel to the ship vs perpendicular, if that makes sense... The murphy bed is located in the living room vs the bedroom in the other Cat T rooms. We thought it was a great room.

We did not get much elevator noise at all. We did get some early morning chair scraping from above (but honestly, you will likely get that in all of the rooms on deck 8). It woke me up but I am a light sleeper, but did not wake up DH, the baby or preschooler.

The closets were huge. You can see there is a little jut out right next to 8536 and that is extra closet space.

Enjoy your cruise!

we were in 8534 on the wonder - but it should be the same as the one on the magic..

we LOVED it.....i think the 4 midship 1 bedrooms are bigger than the other one bedrooms....and they're certainly laid out better...and have a bigger verandah..

two thumbs up for that stateroom..

and no we didn't have any noise from the elevators....
but we did get that early morning pool deck noise...but it only woke me, not DH, DD or DS...in any case, i was happy to be awake....gave me the opportunity to spend time out on the balcony...

Thanks to everyone with your info, just upgraded to 1 bedroom suite on the Magic #8534, can't wait for the cruise.
