:cool1:My 7 month window opened today adn I successfully managed to book a 1 bed at WL for our stay in October.

However I now realise that when I made the booking I had no idea what the best room requests to make are so does anyone have any advise for me. Is it better to have ground floor room or balacony, is there a particular section that I should be asking for. We prefer to be close to everything as opposed to being tucked away in a quiet area.

Any suggestions that anyone can make would be appreciated :goodvibes

I am looking forward to trying some where new :cheer2:

this is a small resort - so everything is close - you are closer to the bus stop than wl.wl is not far away either.

would request one looking at the lake (even if you don't see it)

the bad views are on the other side.

We also have a one bedroom at VWL but for the first week of Nov. We haven't stayed there in ages and are so excited about it. Have a wonderful trip! :goodvibes

As posted above, lake view is recommended. Personally, I would also request near the elevators. It's a small resort, so there won't be that much traffic, plus you'll be closer to the pool, beach, boat dock and buses. Even in a small resort, that walk down the hallway can seem endless after a long day at the parks.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom in Jan on the the fifth floor (top) which we requested, but we were the second last room from the end, farthest away from the elevators. It was not too bad. Sometimes the hall looked like the hall from the movie The Shining. :rotfl2: I took pictures of it. I think we were the only ones there. We never saw anyone there except for the last day we were there. We also had the lake view side which we like alot better.

Good luck on a great room. It is a beautiful resort. We are staying at AKV at Jambo in May. I would have stayed at WL again but the kids want to go somewhere else.
