we are thinking about asking for some of the excursions, spa stuff etc as wedding gifts. any ideas on how others can get ship board credit for you?

I found the answer to this question on Allearsnet.com. Anyone can add to an onboard credit for you. They will need 2 things: the reservation number for your cruise and a credit or charge card. With these 2 things, they call Disney Cruise Line and can put an charge an onboard credit to their charge card. When you show up for the cruise, you already have money in your onboard account.

What's up you guys? Sorry I haven't posted. Busy busy busy. I have nothing to report other than the fact that I'm tired. How boring, right? But I'm SOOO jazzed about this cruise! My lilofan dad has made all of our restaurant reservations at WDW prior to sailing. He's like a travel agent. I'm so lucky. And he's turning 60...ugh I feel old. I can't imagine how HE feels. my sister (akasleepingbeauty) just got back from her family cruise on sat and she had a great time. i can't wait to see pictures, especially the ones from pirate night. she then reminded me that i haven't made a hotel reservation for the night before and travel arrangements to port. so much to do! maybe if i'm real nice she'll look up some stuff for me.....

we do have our plane tickets though so there's a start.

So, now it's just down to my DH and I. The rest of my group will not be traveling with us. I am so sad about the whole thing. This is a trip a year in the making and now the plans have changed. I am soooo sad. This trip was going to be perfect. It all started out perfect until my good friend passed away in May. And now no one else is coming with us because Florida has a new law that states that a child cannot have more than 5 unexcused absences and sure enough we have an 11 year old Floridian child traveling with us that already has one unexcused absence! Why is this happening? Don't get me wrong... a week vacation with my DH is really nice, but being with friends that love Disney as much as we do makes the trip a lot more fun. So, now my whole planning strategy has changed and I have to plan for just the two of us.

Well, just wanted to tell you all that you'll just meet my DH and I and not the rest of the gang.

CaptainJack, tell your girls "Thank you" and that I am sorry that Maryanne will not be traveling with us so they won't be hanging out together.

I'm sorry your friends won't be able to make it, the kids must be so disappointed... but you still have friends that love Disney as much as you do even though you haven't met them yet... us!
