ok, im really trying to finish this....sorry if this is in pieces!!

flounders--
we loved the nursery! we made ressies and shown up a little early to watch how olivia(6 mo) would react to being left with someone else-she was ok!! we packed her a jar of food, some formula packs, water, wipes, daiipers, clean jammies. they fed her, changed her , cleaned her, played on the floor with her, held her . when we came to check on her a few hours later, she was SLEEPING!!! she never sleeps for anyone, not even me!:) tracy(i think shes the superviser) is wonderful! it set up so cute with tons of toys and soft things for those with toddlers.

excursions--
we didnt do any. next time.......

ports of call--
weloved st marteen! we reaaly did. we didnt know what to expect, theres been some mixed feeling on these boards. we got off the ship right when we were cleared and it was drizzling . we ran into a general store to grab some granola bars and water...$$$$$$$ wow! a box of granola bars, regular old granola bars was $6.99!!! holy !@#$#%!! we spent $12 on water and granola. we were wonering if we should get back on the ship at this point between the rain and $$. when we stepped out of the store, it was alreay starting to get sunny.
:sunny: so, we got in line for the ferry to go over to great bay and the shopping area. $5.00 r/t for adults and they didnt charge for the kids. we got off the ferry and literally stepped on to a beautiful beach....really calm, crystal clear water and lots of seashells. i will post digital pix as sone as i figure it out!we could take pix of the ship from our chairs. great pix!we rented 2 chairs with an umbrella for $10 and had such a nice day! the restrooms were right up by the ferry and so was a burger king, casino, little shops, the norm for tourists. when we had enough and wanted to get a little shopping in, we went into the shops in plillipsburg. it was called wathy square. we bought some cigars and perfume-decent prices suprisingly. we had a nice day. we didnt take the ferry back-we walked the sidewalk back to the ship. kind of a long walk when its hot with little kids and there sand in your shoes!
st thomas--
we took a cab and shopped in charlotte amalie. great deals on jewery and perfumes!very pretty town. we then grabbed a cab to megans bay. the ride over going over the mountain is breathtaking! the views are amazing. have camera ready. the gate to pull into megans bay was a 10 minute wait until we could enter. the island was so crowded that day. theres normally 3-4 ships at a time docked. there was 8 on wed. so, everything was crowded. once we paid $3 a person and got settled, we were able to appriciate how lovely it really was.calm, clear, and surrounded by mountains. it was waaaayyyy to crowded for me, though. towels and chairs almost touching all the way down the beach. so, we left and went to the havensight mall near the pier. very good deals on gems, silver and cigars. there is also a pharmacy there for those who need anything. i liked st marteen better....i thought (IMO) that the people were friendlier and it was easier to get around for us(stroller, mil with scooter, etc.).

castaway cay-
oh my god! paradise for anyone, any age. i dont even think i can put into words how amazing it was....cookies bbq had really good chicken, potato salad.konk coolers--wow! the best drink that i ever had. i had a few
;) , quite a few. i had to start drinking non/alc. still yummy!we dropped off our 4 year old at the kids club on the island , picked up a all-terrain wheelchair, and head over to the family beach. wow....so pretty. we were sad, though....from where ever we sat, we could see the ship . the ship that we wont be on 24 hours later:( . we didnt do anything except lay around and drink konks! we did walk over to see serenity bay(next year when the babys 1 1/2)-soooo nice!

more later!!!!

I felt your pain....looking at the ship at Castaway Cay know your time onboard was about to end....It is a sad feeling and one I am already dreading having to deal with again.
