I'm a Disney veteran but haven't been since FP + and magic bands started. I really need some help to sort this all out.

We will be going to Disney the week between Christmas and New Years. Don't worry..we've been before during this time and know what the crowds are like. :thumbsup2

Here's the tricky part:

Dh, myself and my sons will be staying onsite with the free dining deal. We'll be upgrading our tickets to AP's.

My teenage girls will be staying offsite with friends. We'll be purchasing AP's for them as well.

My girls are going to come into the parks most days.

Soooo...to link all of our tickets in order to book FP+ how will I do that? I'll need to buy them AP vouchers in advance correct? And since they won't be onsite...I'll have to book FP+ for all us at 30 days out correct? Hoping theres some decent stuff left for that crowded week!

TIA for any help you can give me!

Just be aware, during the different park closure stages, off-site visitors are typically the first ones shut out (parking lots close).

Just something to keep in mind.

I don't know the answer, but am wondering if you should book the onsite 60 days out and book the off site at 30 days out in hopes of getting the same/close times. From what I have read, they seem to put more FP+ out there at 30 days out, but would worry you can't get ALL you want at 30 days out. Not really an answer, but something I would consider if it was me.
