1/2 marathon with the parents

We'll this is it my parents and I are siging up for the half marathon in January, which happens to be my birthday weekend! I am happy I am shooting for a medal and a birthday pin. since they always go for my fathers birthday...its my turn now. and now I can get into shape. Anyone else going?

Congratulations on signing up! dH signed me up this year (2007) and I somehow got through it w/ little training! But don't do that! Train and enjoy your birthday 1/2. It is a lot of fun and very exciting!!

Thanks everyone...yes I am very excited and My mom emailed me with the 15 page starter of the "what to do" I read it last night. Its very overwhelming but I am determind to do it.
