We're going to only have 2 days at the parks. One day will be totally in the MK... the next day will be split between AK and Epcot.

I figure we'll do AK in the morning then head over to Epcot after lunch. I know going on the "safari" is the best thing to do early in the morning... but then what?

The kids with us will be 9,7,5 (all boys)... then girls ages 4 and 19 mo. ALL of them (inc the 4 yo girl) love dinosaurs. I hear that there's a dinosaur exhibit of some kind at AK? Also, what's this about the Lion King Parade? Is that something we'd be able to see in the AM? What are some other MUST SEE attractions that we'd be able to squeeze in in half a day?

Thanks so much!!

;)

One of our favorites if the Festival of the Lion King. It is a "not to miss" show and it is amazing! :earboy2: Have fun!

1) Safari as mentioned
2) Tough to be a Bug (try Fastpass)
3) Lion King
4) Kali Rapids

The dinosaur ride for the older kids, the 4 and 5 year old might want to skip it along with the 19 month old; they could play at the dig site for 1/2 hour

Dinosaur is really scary.

I'd go for the Safari, Festival of the Lion King and It's tough to be a bug.

We enjoyed the skating monkeys in Tarzan Rocks in addition to everything listed above. I would say that you can skip Kali River Rapids - too short of a ride for such long lines...Don't forget to take some time to see the animals that live in the habitats along side of the entrance/exit paths.

Be there when the park opens. Go straight to the safari, then do its tough to be a bug, go to dinosaur, if there is little wait, go on it. If the wait is long, get a fast pass, check out dinoland(primeval whirl perhaps), check out showtimes for festival of the lion king, see that, go to kali river rapids, head back to your hotel, change clothes and get ready for epcot. You can easily do these six attractions in less than three hours. I did it this weekend, and we rode dinosaur three times and the kids rode primeval whirl twice.

Either Festival of the Lion King or Tarzan Rocks (but probably not enough time to do both)

Safari Ride

Boneyard for the kids to burn off some steam... it's an awesome playground, all dinasaur themed.

anything else is gravy.

1. kilimanjaro safari
2. tough to be a bug show (send one member of your group to get everyone's fastpass while the rest walk to the safari)
3Dinosaur ride for older and younger kids can play in the dino dig (my 5 and 9 year old loved both)
4. Festival of the lion king show (first show is usually around 10 or 11ish)

I would definately do the safari first. We had the best time on that ride and everything about it was just awesome. I would also not miss the festival of the lion king. Amazing!
