Merry Christmas!! We got most of our documents yesterday. One for our one of our granddaughters did not come. They came UPS. Hopefully, it will be here Monday.
We hope it warms up in Fl. It is 2 degrees here!!

We'll see you in a three weeks!!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!! No Doc dance here in Connecticut!! Now that I know you all got yours, I'm anticipating them soon!

We gave the boys the surprise of their young lives this morning when they found out we were headed on a two week extravaganza!! Needless to say it's going to be a long 14 days. They are psyched!!

Just think, in exactly 3 weeks we'll be on deck 9 or 10 at our sailaway party. This year has past quickly!! I think I need to re-read this thread to help me remember all the info everyone's posted. Looking forward to meeting you all onboard.

If anyone is unsure of who they'll be sitting with at dinner or would rather sit with people you 'kind of' know, DCL lets people link their dining reservations so they can have the same dining rotation and sit together, or at adjoining tables if it's a large group. On my other planned cruise, we have 92 people linking up their dining reservations...Mark

No Docs yet for me from Allseas! I'm trying not to wish for an upgrade so as not to be disappointed.

I'm torn between wanting to get the docs and thinking about all the packing I have yet to do! There's this week and next week and then it's time to go for us on the 12th.

Of course, Kelli's even earlier. It feels like its speeding now!

Loved the picture of your boys kellimomo3. Especially your 6 year old's face when he put the puzzle together. I don't know how you kept it a secret for so long. I sure couldn't have. Both Houzer and I have six year old boys. Maybe they will meet up in the kids club and become friends.

I agree with you perishing.....I don't look forward to packing.

The packing ain't so bad; it's the pre-cruise shopping for clothes that has me worried!! From Sandy and my daughter's point of view, what looks good don't fit and what fit well doesn't look good...Mark

The 01/15/04 cruise will be our first. We are counting down the days . Our DD6 and DD13 do not know we are going on the cruise. They only know we are going to Florida.

Our older DD13 is not an especially outgoing kid, looking at the age group for the teen activities she is on the young side of the age bracket. How well do they integrate all the kids into the activities? Does this large bracket of ages really work?

WeLoveDVC- Welcome to our cruise meet thread. Make sure you find out about our meet onboard. My daughter is 12 and definately not ready to mingle with teens yet. Even if she thinks she is!! We also have another cruise booked for August and she'll be 13 then and we dread having her in the teen group. I think it's more of a parent thing though. My daughter is also not as outgoing as her 10 year old brother. Maybe they can e-mail each other over the next couple of weeks and get to know a friend before we cruise. Where is your family staying before the cruise? We are flying in on the 14th, giving a buffer for bad weather, and staying at Ron Jon's the night before we cruise. Do you have main or late dining?...Mark

Mark.... We are having a problem with clothes as well. My DD12 has grown 2 inches in 4 months and after trying on her shorts the other day we discovered that not many fit. Trying to find shorts in Canada at this time of the year is a real challenge. We are going to wait and shop either in Orlando or Key West.

Mark & WeLoveDVC.....I have a DD12 that is shy as well. Houzer (the other family we are going with) has a DS12 who is a real character (great sense of humour) and definitely not shy. I am sure he will have the girls laughing at the club in no time......

Now that my boys know about our cruise I wanted to tell them about some of the other boys that will be in the club with them. I have three boys: one just turned eight and will be staying in the 5-7 grouping, one is 6 1/2 and one is 4 1/2. So...they will all be in the Oceaneer's Club and are looking for friends!! Refresh my memory and post if you have boys their ages!! Thanks guys!!

Hi Everyone! My family will also be on the 1/15/05 MAGICAL cruise. This is our first Disney cruise. We have a DD12 and DD3. My parents will also be with us. We booked in February and can't believe it's almost time. No documents yet... Anxiously waiting a call from our TA.
