As far as the islands go we did not make any excursions we just kind of went for it. On St. Thomas we rented a jeep($83.00) and that was wonderful, we saw everything all of the beaches the lookouts and best of all driving on the wrong side of the road. Castaway Cay was beautiful we brought our own snorkel and mask and I think this was the highlight of our trip.
I do though have a problem with the tipping on the ship. We went to dinner 2 times out of 7 and they ask us to tip our server as much as we do the room attendent who was in our room 3 times a day. I also thought that the people who take care of the kids so well should be tipped.
Overall it was a great trip we made friends for life and I'm so glad now that the last cruise was cancelled, because this one could not have been more perfect.
But after seeing the Navigator of the Seas RCCL, I hope to report on that ship next time. Have to dream.......
