We are staying 1 night at HRH. We plan to arrive at HRH before the parks open and get our room key(Around 8:00am). (I thought someone said I could this)We will then tour the parks. We will tour the parks until closing and relax at the pool at night. Problem: our flight leaves MCO at 5:30. This means at the very latest, we could stay in the parks until 2:30/3:00 before checking out of our hotel. Is 1 1/2 days enough to see everything using FOTL. Or is this going to be commando style? P. S. -- My kids don't do really big roller coasters.

You should be ok in a day and a half if you are going during a slow time, especially if you are going to skip the Hulk and Dueling Dragons because your kids don't like coasters. But, even if you would do them, I think you could do everything in both parks with FOTL access, at least all of the rides. I would figure out ahead of time which shows are a must see for you, and try to work your schedule around them.
BTW, when are you going? Have a great trip!

THanks pippy, we are going the first week of November. 6 nights at Disney and 1 night at Universal. (This will be a Thursday night) Can't wait!! I'm thinking of changing my reservation to 2 nights at the HRH. It sounds wonderful!

Crowds should be low in Nov. except at Thanksgiving. You should have no problem seeing all the park at that time. With Express Passes, we rarely wait over 5 minutes for any attraction, except MIB. It is really worth it to stay at a Universal hotel for FOTL. I wish I could stay at one sometime, but DH would never let me since we only live 10 miles away from there.
