Wednesday at 6am cant come soon enough...I heard on the news today that we had the 4th snowy winter in history so far at Midway we have had 31 inches...Thats way too much for me! Last year at thiw time we only had 8 inches of snow...But I am in a very cheery mood despite the weather...I just booked a girls weekend with 2 friends of mine for May 8-11 at AKV and then found out that I am going to Ft. Lauderdale for work April 10-13! I cant wait! 2 more trips to Fl! And I thought I was done until September!

where will you be staying in Ft. Lauderdale. I am on the beach side and close to the airport and Pt. Everglades.

We'll discuss it while we are on the cruise and try to get together while you are here.

Yes, it is damp and windy, spring can't come soon enough. We are full of snowbirds.......All driving big cars and going 30.......in the left lane....

The weather is crazy here. We are under another Winter Storm warning.

I know it is bad when they shut down school for me (which they did yesterday - Wednesday).

The co-workers my husband went to help are ok. Everyone was fine, just the vehicle was totaled. Yes they were upside down in the ditch. I don't know the specifics but all I do know is that they hit a patch of black ice and ended upside down in the ditch. They hung there for a minute, probably long enough to figure out what the heck happened and got out and called my husband. From the time my husband left to the time he got home it was 2 hours later.

Another one of us co-workers was traveling north that night and also ended up in a ditch, but just a mild slide off. He was able to get out and get to his destination and stay put.

When I left school tonight about quarter to 8, the roads were already getting bad again. You know they are bad when you are going 45 on the highway and it feels like you are speeding.

I knew we were going to get nailed in January for having such a mild December.

Good morning everyone! Winter Storm Warning here as well. Lots of snow down and it is still snowing. Mark just left to go plow the two stores he's responsible for. It is going to be slow going this morning. I'm blessed to live close to work. It only took me about 15 minutes to get home last night (I can usually do it in 7-10). They said on the news last night that some commutes went up to 3 hours! Everyone in the path of this stay safe. It is heavy snows up north but looks like some nasty stuff further south.

I'll be staying home today and resting and watching movies on my TIVO. Haven't been able to do that all week. The only thing I am going to do is clean my pool and that won't take but about 15 minutes.

Wow you guys need to stay warm & safe. It is cold here but sunny. We are supposed to be in the 60's all week end. So it will be great weather for yard work.

Not sure about where we are staying, Dr. has final decision in that, but we are flying into Ft. lauderdale airport. I figure we will stay on the beach somewhere.

It took me about 20 min last night to get home, usually its 7-10. So not too bad! There's no school for the girls and they can't wait to go and play in the snow! We have about 9 inches, not too bad, but I know my little car wont make it through the snow, so I am staying put until its cleared up a little bit! Tim left for work at 6am so he could be there by 8:30 because he wasnt sure about the roads and traffic. Good thing because he called me at 7:15 and was where he should be after 15 min. of traveling. He drives 45 min every day! Wednesday can't get here soon enough! I need warmth and no snow! This winter has been awful compared to the last few years!
