I thought it meant man who was a Scar (from Lion King) fan. ;)

Kidding! Mark and I are Nascar fans as well.

:) I remember you saying you were, I just sold my 4 tickets to NH for this weekend, too close to the cruise to be able to go up and enjoy.

I have skimmed the last 300 or so posts, but they really havent registered....It's just so hard to get excited about this cruise....Gram passed this evening, its going to be bitter sweet for us. Sometimes I really feel life isnt fair, we should be getting ready for a cruise with her, not a wake and funeral.

I know that shes in a better place, but I just cant help but feel that she should be going with us. Its been a long weekend, and I'm exhausted, night all.

Oh No Tina I am soooo sorry to hear of your families loss. My Husband and I have both lost Grandmothers in the last month so I know what you must be going through. I know that this is a hard time for your family and I do hope that you will all be OK. Even though it is bitter sweet I am sure that Gram would want you all to go and have a great trip. I will keep you all in my thoughts over the coming days....

Hey everybody! I missed another pirate! I cannot believe I actually have to work!:lmao:
Congrats Dave!:goodvibes

I enjoy a two (2) mile walk around the Promenade Deck every morning after I get up. Is there anyone out there who would join me? I don't do the MP3 player thing, I enjoy conversation. Ahoy there, Mates!!! Who's for a brisk stroll around the Poop  :scared1: Deck?

I might consider it, depending on what time you go & how my bones/joints feel when I get up!

as for nascar do they show the races on the ship

I'm packing jeans for two nights and dresses for the other two. I'm usually freezing anyway, so jeans will be OK for me.

As you can see I'm playing catch up. I'm taking slacks/blouses for 2 nights & skirt/dress for the other 2. I hardly ever dress up any more so for me it's kind of fun once in awhile1

I believe if you go down to the sports bar, you can ask them to turn it on, the Dover Race should be on Sun at 2:15pm. (If the Bar is open that early)
It is on ABC.

I usually am on deck 7:30 - 8:00 A.M.

A third of the way to another Pirate already!

I'm hoping for the Jags-Colts game right after the Life-boat drill:thumbsup2

We will definitely be watching some football too!:thumbsup2

When we cruised last year they showed the MNF game on the big screen by the Goofy pool. Since I hear that Pirate night is on Monday, that messes that one up! I wish Pirate night was on Tuesday. ;)

I got the docs from UPS today. As far as people for a dinner party, I have only 2. My dad who died in 1965 while I was 6 years old and my mom who died in 1992.
