Well I think the truck is banished from the garage forever! When we first moved into this house, I painted the garage floor with the epoxy concrete paint. I thought that epoxy paint would hold up to brake fluid, but I can see some stress in it now. It didn't eat right through it like it would normal paint, but I'm not sure how it will hold up from here on.

Laran and I soaked up the brake fluid with paper towels (well she ran the paper towel roll). Then I swept it out followed by a Swiffer wet mop. I can see little patches where the brake fluid was. Not real happy with the Navigator right now. Plus the shop hopes to be able to finish the job tomorrow morning, which puts me on a tight schedule to get to Saugatuck for the kick-off of the film festival.

Maybe the week will finsh better than it has gone so far?

John, I would suggest that you invest in a bucket with a lid (like a 5 gal Spackle bucket) full of "kitty litter". Keep it in the garage and whenever you have any spill of oil, fuel, brake fluid, coolant, etc just cover the spill with the kitty litter and let it soak it up. When done, sweep it up and throw it away. Repeat as necessary until the spill is gone and then simply wash the floor.

The sooner after the spill the less likely it will stain or damage the floor.

Oooh, Andy you poor guy  Wally and I know just how you feel. We just went through a round of acute addonitis ourselves recently. Yes, the treatment does work very quickly :woohoo: Sadly, I don't believe there is an actual cure beware of those symptoms cropping up again  Congrats on your add on!!!!

Thanks! Yea, I do not think there is a cure and I have accepted that. I guess the appropriate plan of action is to begin planning to move to FL so that it will be easier for me to seek my therapy for this horrible ailment. pixiedust:

Update...
The Parrot Head Gathering is officially being considered by DVC as an recognized Members Cruise event. I got to present the idea to the DVC marketing executive
commitee by phone today. They thought the idea had merit and is now on their planning agenda. The committee will be finalizing the special events for our cruise this month and will be back in touch with me on whether our Parrot Head function gets included as a cruise event. The next step is for DVC to present it to DCL for approval since DCL owns Castaway Cay. I will keep everyone informed on the progress. A little pixie dust would be nice to help push this forward.

It helped that the CM at members service I spoke with initially is a Parrot Head and she set up my phone meeting with DVC marketing. Keep your fingers crossed everyone:thumbsup2

That is too awesome! Congratulations on the hard work and for thinking to take this forward the next step. I call dibs on the first free drink coupon they give us!!! :rotfl:

Congratulations Andy! :) Now stay away from me I don't want to catch it!:scared1:

Lynn, Lynn, Lynn. I hate to tell you, this is not contagious but genetics. No matter how far away I remain, you are just as susceptible as I was. Since that is the case, come on over here and lemme give you a big ole hug :grouphug:

I bet Andy hears that from all the girls :)

I thought we were friends John. Keep this up and I will pull out the road signs again, except you will not like the message I put up THIS time.
