Are they left on so you can access them when ever you can?
What is the origin of DizDragonFly?

Hmmm, well, Diz is for Disney. And my favorite book of all time is Dragonfly in Amber (part of the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon). I started collecting dragonfly trinkets about 14 years ago. So, I was trying to come up with something that hadn't been taken and I combined the two things.![]()
Most of the time I can turn them on remotely![]()
I'm very very glad that Jason doesn't bring his work home with him.![]()
Ditto. Thank you for sharing.
Just trying to understand how you do that. Whenever my BIL remote access' my computer I have to log on to whatever program it is and the he takes over. I already have my computer on. Are these computers in sleep mode or something? Just wondering.
Unfortunately, sometimes I work on vacation. But, seeing how that enables us to visit the mouse & his boats 5-8 times a year, the boss doesn't complain![]()

No, they are turned off. I turn them on with a feature called WOL (wake on lan).
I'd have to complain loudly if Jason brought his work on vacation. Keeping an eye on two teenagers is bad enough, adding inmates to that equation doesn't sound like fun to me.

I usually work after we get back to our resort.

I couldn't ever get that working right on my home network. I wanted the server to wake them up to back them up automatically. Oh well. I have to add another hard drive to the server anyway. There's no room left.![]()
