I PROMISE I wasn't lurking! I was printing DD's b-day invites and came back to the DISboards just a second too soon it looks like! :rotfl2: As usual...my timing was off! Ok, gotta go finish putting her invites together.

I told Lara what you said about ghosts at Dalhousie and she reminded me of the loud noise just as we were about asleep. To us it sounded like Laran's headboard (which I saw was a little loose, on her rollaway cot), banging up against the glass wagon-wheel table.

Lara told me she looked at Laran's bed and the table the next morning, and they were several feet apart. Both of these events occured in the first room, and nothing in the second room. Maybe you're onto something (but I'm still not buying it).

LOL It only takes one real spooky experience to convince you ... or make you think you're crazy ... ;)

Happy Friday Everyone!:goodvibes

Hello everyone, how you doing?

T.G.I.F.

It's been a loooooooooooooong week at work. Can;t wait for 5 o'clock!

Well, I spent four hours at the ER with my mom last night. She went from being completely fine to extreme pain and not being able to stand upright in a matter of seconds. She's had this happen before. They ran some tests and found out it's gallstones. So, at least she knows what's been happening and can have the gallbladder taken out soon.

So, this afternoon I walked in on Jason looking at elevation maps, weather maps, looking at the federal prison facilities for Florida, and searching sites about the communities they are in. It seems that my occasional talk of moving to Florida has sunk in and has him thinking. He's now suggesting that on a future trip (not this September) we take a few days and drive around looking at the areas the prisons are in. We wouldn't be moving for at least another four years, minimum (until the boys are both over 18). But, the wheels are turning. :thumbsup2

The wheels have been turning for us for years. I don't think a move will happen till the kids are out of high school :headache: which really really sucks!:sad2: My only salvation is if the travel agency business does well enough that we could move and be able to come back to visit at a moments notice if we want to or be able to pay for airfare for them to visit us. Either way it still won't be for a couple years at the earliest:woohoo: or ten years at the latest.:sad1: I was born in Florida and I WILL die in Florida! (old age of course):thumbsup2

That's what we used to say - after the kids are out of high school. They are now 28 & 25 and now we have grandkids. We still talk about it, but who knows.

I was just so surprised, because it's always been me that brings it up and he just gives me the raised eyebrow.

I have been talking about the same thing with Shawn the last fw years about moving to Florida. Most of the time she just says no that she likes her seasons. :) After this last winter though and the large amounts of ICE that we got, I almost have her convinced. :cool1:

I tell her I like the seasons as well, as long as they are over 40 degrees Farenheit.:rotfl2:

I will get to live in Florida at some point and time, probably for retirement at this point.
