For four of us it would cost more for DCL, it's actually cheaper to rent a car. I was able to get a good rate with Enterprise. A one way/one day rental is close to $80-100 depending on the size, and since we don't know the area well, we'd rather play it safe, fly in 2 days early, stay at PC for 2 nights, (because of our flight) then stay at WDW for 2 nights.
Are you really only planning 2 days for WDW?

I can't wait either! My daughters are such foodies, (we LOVE to eat!) they have no idea, and I'm sure we'll eat our way through Epcot. What's your favorite restaurant there?

We LOVE FOOD too :lmao:. Treated Terrie to Queen Victoria's Room @ VA for her BDay (it was AMAZING).

...Well, If you like steak, Le Cellier (Canada Pavilion) has a wonderful filet
France, Italy, Japan are all good.

I think Karen has you beat by a few states, but I'd give you a consolation prize.
I'm just kidding! :goodvibes Karen is up in Oregon, above me, so she prolly is just a wee bit further. Anyway, going on the cruise and meeting everyone is priceless in itself. :grouphug:

Apparently, Terrie (DW) brought the first Shellie May ever to Epcot (maybe WDW) when we were there a couple weeks ago.
Nice! We're going back to DL in July, so I'll pick up Shellie Mae for Duffy. ;)

Good Night Sue!!! Say hello to the rest of the Potter Clan for me :goodvibes

Will do, Wally! Say hi to Terrie for me, please. Jennifer is gonna keep me up all night panicking because she is only staying for two days on her first visit!! How is she ever going to do it all?

She can accomplish it with SUPER FAST PASSES :cool2:

We're taking it easy, no worries! We are doing our research when we go to WDW, then we will come back! :thumbsup2

Yes, I can go OCD easily with all the planning! I think I've already scoped out our post cruise plans...Eat, drive to WDW, check in, eat, drive all over WDW, eat, go to DTD, eat, sleep...:cloud9:...Eat, Then Epcot for one day, maybe check out the segue tour...:rolleyes1...eat...

Tables In Wonderland (used to be called Disney Dining Experience)
GOOD MORNING!!!! WE GOT OUR TABLES OF WONDERLAND JUST OVER A YEAR AGO BUT IT DOESNT EXPIRE UNTIL APRIL. WELL WORTH THE $75. WE ALMOST SAVED THAT MUCH ON THE FIRST MEAL. WE HAD 6 PEOPLE EATING AT BOMA. TOTAL COST WAS ABOUT $240 BUT WE GOT $48 OFF WITH TABLES. WE HAVE IN THE PAST TAKEN THE DISNEY TRANSPORTATION FROM OKW AND RENTED CAR. THE MORE PEOPLE IN YOUR GROUP IT BECOMES CHEAPER TO RENT VEHICLE. WE HAD 6 IN OUR PARTY 3 YEARS AGO. INSTEAD OF PAYING $78 EACH BY BUS WE RENTED MINI VAN FOR UNDER $100 EACH WAY. SO UNDER $200 INSTEAD OF $470. THE BUSES WILL USUALLY GET YOU THERE BY 1PM DEPENDING ON THE RESORT. YOU CAN DRIVE CAR AND GET TO PORT CANVERAL IN A GOOD HOUR FROM WDW. SO YOU COULD ARRIVE BEFORE NOON. ITS A STRAIGHT ROUTE FROM BOTH WDW AND AIRPORT TO PORT CANAVERAL. YOU ALMOST DRIVE INTO THE SHIP:rotfl2: WE RENTED A CAR FROM ENTERPRISE AT AIRPORT THE DAY BEFORE DROVE TO OKW AND THE NEXT DAY IN THE MORNING DROVE TO ENTERPRISE IN COCO BEACH AREA. DROPPED THE CAR OFF AND THEY SHUTTLED US OVER AND WE HAD CAR ARRANGED TO DO THE SAME THING GOING BACK TO OKW. IT ONLY COST US 1 DAY EACH WAY.
WE MIGHT FIND ANOTHER COUPLE WHEN IT GETS CLOSER TO THE CRUISE TO SHARE A RENTAL WITH OR SPEND $160 FOR DISNEY BUS.

YEP, ITS FROM DUDLEY, NOT ME!:rotfl2:

If you desire to purchase points for a particular Use Year at a sold out resort, (direct thru Disney) you may have to wait list. Once DVC obtains what you are seeking, thru ROFR usually, then they call you so you can complete your purchase.

This is used for some of the popular sold out resorts such as VWL or BCV. :)

In this instance, it's OKW! LOL There are a few Use Years open, but none in the fall or winter. :confused3

Anyone know of a good DVC reseller? I know of the one that sponsors the DVC board, but I'm sure there are others out there. I figure if we have to wait, I may as well keep an eye out for resales too.
