I don't know if the magic would be lost working for Disney. My most favorite Disney memory is when I was given a set of two Tink pins by a CM who stopped us as we were entering Fronteirland. It was one to keep and one to share. We found the perfect little girl to share it with. She was so excited. It was awesome being given the opportunity to share a little magic! :cloud9:

Sounds very cool. I have never heard of this campaign.

Did you just find someone else at the park about your sons' age and explain the gift?

Hi John - thanks for keeping all of this straight. Yes, I will be the informal "hostess" of the Sunrise Coffee Club and will make buttons for anyone who wants to joins me for coffee (or other beverages) in the wee hours of the morning! When we get a little closer, I'll take a rough count of how many might stop by so that I will have enough buttons! Please give me a :thumbsup2 too.

Thanks again!! :)

:rotfl: I was wondering how long until you noticed that I "volunteered" you for the job. It seemed you had previous experience, but I really went out on a limb listing you. It's just informal, and if you're not up for buttons, I'm sure no one will mind. I don't even know how the buttons work ... never joined you all before.

Thank you for taking on the task ... don't know if you'll see me that early or not ... I'm not much of a morning person, especially on vacation. But I'll try very hard to join you at least once.

Good Morning fellow cruisers!

It's going to be a very nice day here in Jersey - and it's Friday .

Hopefully it will be a quiet weekend - I have had enough excitement lately.

I heard from my son in Afghanistan this past week (my reason for not being very social this week or so). He has decided to extend his work there for another 6 months - so needless to say, I'm very conflicted with my feelings again. I'm very worried because things seem to be heating up over there - and besides that's what us mothers get to do - worry!!! But when he tells me that he wants to stay and finish the job he has started and train the new guys that will be coming in December, I'm so proud of him that I could bust! So my emotional roller coaster will now continue until sometime in June - oh my that sounds so very far away.

Please send a little pixiedust: our way! I really appreciate how supportive everyone has been.

Have a great weekend everyone! I have to work, but will try to pop in from time to time to say hi.

I could never stand in your shoes, but my best advise would be to worry less and be proud more. He is serving an honorable duty for us.

Please tell him how many of us appreciate his efforts, as we wish him and his fellow soldiers a safe return back home.

I KNOW SINCE YOUR FROM WISCONSIN YOU COULD WEAR A BIG CHEESE HEAD, ID SPOT THAT:rotfl2:

Laura will wear that with the her packer swimsuit! :lmao:

The other folks from Baja Minnesota (Wisconsin, Nancy and myself) we will try blend in as if we were "normal" people .... ;)

Hi John.
Speaking of "voluntEARs", I nominate you to do the DISMEET on the Cruise ship @ 3PM. Anyone second?

Well, DISNEY way at least...

I just joined the forum and started reading the original of this thread and a zillion others last night. :surfweb:

I am sooooooo excited for this cruise and after reading on this thread, even more excited to get to know some of you and rock this cruise together! I am at work now but tonight I will try to spend some more time catching myself up on this thread and then getting myself onto the cruise site, planning for the sunrise coffee group, investigating all kinds of other things and most importantly, continuing to work on my strategy for riding the aquaduck the most amount of times! :cool2:

I hope to become a VERY active member of this thread and can't wait to get to know you and let you get to know me. (Run now if you are smart- Hey, don't say I did not warn you :rolleyes1)

Hi Andy, :welcome: Aboard!

Looking forward to getting to know you!

Hi Lara, it is so nice to meet you! Maybe we should ignore our husbands and just chat with others as we see fit. :rotfl:

It was very cool to meet Wally, Terrie, George and Stacey while we were in WDW. Do you guys ever make it up to Chicago or Northern Indiana?

Hi Sue, John Here

I'll step in for Lara since we are entertaining friends from Michigan right now :rolleyes1 They are upstairs dancing to the Wii.

I would never ignore my husband ... he is such a great man! At least I think that's what she would say?

We make it to Chicago less than once a year (other than for connecting flights). We were there earlier this year, Memorial weekend. Caitlyn was just there with a friend from Michigan a couple of weekends ago. She lives in Michigan City, and that's usually about as close as we get to Chicago. During the summer we are up that way a lot on the weekends, on our way to southwestern Michigan.

Yes, of course. When the Batman TV show was on, we all learned what an onomatopoeia was because when the Dynamic Duo were fighting, Biff! BAM! POW! were splashed all over the screen. :happytv: (Now I'm showing my age.)

Congratulation Sue,

At least there are a couple of well educated people among us (you and Terrie). Do you find it hard to soar like an eagle, when you're chatting with turkeys? ;)

No, she has to chat with me on a daily basis... :rotfl2:

Hi Wally ... working my way throught the thread ... nearing the end.

In the absence of a Second ... motion Dismissed ;)

I could volunteer, unless someone with any experience with this would rather do it. I never even knew about this crazy group on our previous SSMC's, so I'm not sure how it all goes down. Anyone up to Co-chair it with me?

Got it. Replied to it. Sue replied to your question earlier though. And yes, I am here now that you are back. :wave2:

Hi Dan,

My apologies to you and Sue. I was so far behind today, I decided to just tackle everthing sequentially. As soon as I posted, and read a little further, I saw Sue's (and the rest of the family's) response.

I will add her to IL and Midwest (We almost tied with the NE, but now they have another one too)

Thanks all
