How nice for you to have family come with on the cruise:cool1: We took our family last NYE on a Disney cruise. It was really fun and special. I wish we could do it again, it may take a couple of years :woohoo:

We all traveled together last Christmas/New Years and spent time together at WDW. This will be our first cruise together (since Caitlyn was little).

Never thought about a New Year's cruise until you posted it. I think you said something previously about it (if not you, someone did). Besides the few extra things they do on the cruies for NY's, it would also be our wedding anniversary. So something we'll have to think about. Thanks for the idea.

I know what you mean. We try to save where we can, but Disney still finds a way to drain bank accounts.

Dan, I don't know about the other guys here, but my eyes keep drifting up to the lady hoping that wind fan will blow the sheet just a little more.
I keep wondering where I went wrong. HE gets to be nekkid with a nekkid supermodel at 9 months old!

We have been told we should have modeled Laran. But not enough time, back then. Best: was when two people in one day told us she looked like the Gerber Baby. Worst was when two people in one day asked if it was Grandparents Day with the baby. I though my wife was going to deck the second guy. Both are true stories.
Awesome and yowch!!! Can't say as I blame her atall! Great story!

Yes I think I may have mentioned about the NYE cruise. It was fun and they did some special things but really we had much more fun on the member cruise. Either way it's hard to beat being on a Disney cruise:thumbsup2

Take a Picture of the Picture on the Wall :thumbsup2
Wish we were up there too...yumm, burger :rotfl:

Godspeed to both you and Milford :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Here it is!!!

Anyone have any good ideas for an easy snack to go with our "monster mash" theme at work this Friday? I'm making graveyard crunch but not sure what else to serve.

We made these: http://www.fabulousfoods.com/recipes/article/107/19011
but instead of licorice for the eyes, we used miniature chocolate chips. :thumbsup2

You're right about that. But we did live in SW Michigan for 6 years. The average snowfall was 75 inches a year. We had to buy a 4x4 and a plow truck just for our driveway. So I know what you're talking about. The common forecast was for 1 to 3 inches every night, unless there was a storm, then it was more.

My wife moved there ahead of me. One day she opened the garage to go to work. The snow was about 2 feet deep, and she had a Chrysler Sebring which sits about 6 inches off the ground. Called in to work...won't be in today. She and a neighbor with a snow blower spent the day clearing off the driveway. Next day, opened the garage door...same thing! That's when we bought an old Ford Ranger 4x4 and started looking for a plow truck. Picked up a Ram Charger near Detroit and still have it, but it hasn't seen any action for several years.

OMG!!!! I wouldn't last a DAY in Michigan with that much snow!

Junior/Debbie,
Our daughter who is sailing with us lives up your way in Michigan City. She can't seem to stay away from the snow.

Yep....we JUST MISS the snowbelt, but she's RIGHT IN it! My mom lives in Wanatah, she gets soooo much more snow there than we do!

Juniors mom & step dad have a boat on Lake Michigan. Every year or two they take it up to Saugatuck. Sometimes they just drive up there for the weekend, too.

GOOD LUCK with the potty training! My DD was THE worst child to potty train. It took me FOUR YEARS. I THINK she has Asperger's Syndrome which would help explain why it took me so long to train her, but I haven't gotten a diagnosis yet.

Sorry I'm a bit sleepy now, did you say your daughter is living in London? If so do you have other family there? I noticed you used the word bollixed, I just found out what that means this week. It is a British word, yes?
Yes she does, and yes, but not really. My wife has a distant cousin who lives in Cambridge, but we haven't much contact. Bollixed up is a phrase that my father used long ago and it is something that I use occasionally. I like it quite a bit. I don't often write it, so the spelling might be off. It may be British, but in my case, it is from Dad.

Got it. I love those dad quotes:yay:
