09/18/11 - DVCers Take Over the Dream (S.S. Member Cruise 2011) - Thread #13

I am thinking about what kind of bag would work better on a plane for all these gifts. A duffle style bag or a large beach bag style. I know this is gonna bother me. I do know this will be the first thing packed in my suitcase laying flat. So what do you all think? I do know whatever I use will have a zipper. last year coming home from WDW I had an open bag and it fliped over in the above compartment in the plane and I lost my new mickey sunglasses. so I learned my lesson to us e a zipped bag.

Keep in mind that you could also fit a smaller suitcase into a larger one and fill inside both for the trip down.

Thanks. Now that you know what we look like if we see you heading the other way when you see us at the pre cruise Dis meet, we will know that we must find a new way to get to the port and back

Just wanted to say a quick while I am on break.
I didn't realize how much FE stuff I bought!
I enjoy making party favors anyway, just figuring out how to pack up
The sword to make way for the banana boat and slingshot action.

When are you telling your girls where they are going? Do they think they are going to Disney World, or are they totally clueless about the trip? When you do tell them will you shoot a vid of them finding out? That would totally rock!

Question for y'all - I found some name badge insert refills at work today and I was thinking I could print them out and we could put them on our lanyard where we keep our room keys. I was thinking I could do our real names, disboard name and maybe our avatar. What do you think - worth it or not?

The on board meet is earlier, I see. Are we still in the 687 District? Is this where they do the on board Palo, Remy and dining changes?

I am going to be so disoriented, first time on the Dream. The Wonder/Magic feel like home now, so the new ship will be different for sure.

I keep watching those reports of the pesky hurricanes that are forming as tropical storms first far out there. Hope they all stay away!
