I always wanted to eat there but they were always packed. The line was huge!!! So we never did until Wally said it was a must eat at restaurant! So on the last day last year we ate there at 9:00 am when there was no line at all. It was the best sub I have ever had!!! And it was just the turkey!:thumbsup2
even if the line is out the door, they have a streamlined system and you're not in the line for more than 10 minutes tops. finding a table sometimes is a different story.

That is when the tip of going around the corner in the restaurant comes in handy. People tend to miss this area when looking for a table. It has always worked for us:cool1:

Each time I have spoken with Michael, I have been passing all of your thougths onto him. As of 9 am CST today Michael was south of Memphis so he is not in New Orleans yet, however he should arrive tonight. He has spoken to his son and he has been moved to a rehab center/nursing home. I am taking that as a positive sign, once Michael arrives I will know more and I will pass it along.
I want each of you to know what an amazing group of people/friends you all are, we are truly very honored that we can count you all as friends. :grouphug:
Thanks so much!!!
:thumbsup2:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::thumbsup2
:goodvibes You know Oscar?! He was so sweet!! :goodvibes
At work today one of the morons on my crew was somehow able to turn the front end of the asphalt roller in a position that's unnatural! We lifted the front end up with a back hoe. I needed to apply force to try and fix it so I stomped it to get to move. My last stomp caught my big toe toe nail on some metal and bent it backwards. My big toe is now totally black and blue and I'm in excruciating pain! Now I'm at work and I can't walk without being in pain. I needed to call off!!! But I need Disney Dollars!!! Theres way too much stuff I wanna do in 7 weeks that I need to suck it up and persevere!! But I still need to scream in agony every ten-fifteen minutes though!!!
Dude, if we (me, my husband, Andy ,and Teri all have a medical background of sorts...;) Anyone else? Jump right in!) need to go all nurse and doctor on you during the trip, it's on!!! I'll start the IV, Andy and my husband will hold you down, Teri will hand you the Konk Koolers, then we'll carry you to CC... So please, don't get hurt or else I'll check your bloodsugar by poking your pinky finger. :flower3:
Thank you, Dan!
And Junior, you BETTER turn it in to Workman's Comp on Monday if it's not better. Do you hear me?!
Just showing that we care Junior. :grouphug: Now feel better.
Yes, I so second that!!!
I'm home and my foot is elevated and I'm watching Rescue Me!! I love that show!
Good job! :thumbsup2
I'm going to Vegas with my mom. Junior is staying home with the kids. I'll miss them, but it's sure nice to spend time with my mom, too. And with Junior working 4-5 nights a week at his part time gig, I soooooo need a break from the kids. :rotfl:
Have fun!!!!
We need to make a post-cruise thread so we can all keep in touch on here.
But we could still plan Chicago DIS meets and also plan to meet up with our friends across the country if any of us are traveling!
Yes! Yes! Yes! I'd love to show off San Francisco and actually show all the great food out here. :goodvibes
Michael & Nancy - Anything new to report on your son? I hope each day brings better news from the doctors.
Me too...:flower3:

Jennifer, if you get to start the IV, I get to go IO!!! Trust me, after one of those, he will never neglect his medical care again :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Color is bad but the pain is MUCH BETTER!!! I can walk without a noticeable limp but I can't push off of it yet. So far so good.
Glad to see you're doing better. :)
Terri (and everyone else) - - -
First of all, I want to thank you for all of the very kind thoughts, the pixiedust: and all the :grouphug: that you all have sent. I am humbled.
My son is doing better. It appears that the worst of the medical issues are by and large resolved. He is currently in a rehab center now. Shortly after I got there this morning the physical therapist arrived and outlined his next steps. He will have lots of therapy to regain strength in his arm and his legs.
I am heading out to find some food ... ( a VERY hard thing to do in this city. :rotfl2: ) I will check in later tonight.
Again, thank you all very much.
You are welcome, take care and keep us posted. :flower3:

Alrighty, need to go to work for those Disney $$$...Have a nice night everyone!

And Teri (Calypso), Can you count us in for the photo on Pirate Night?
Thanks!!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2
