I know that I need to chill out. I am the opposite extreme of those who pack the night before. I have to have everything ready weeks ahead of time. I have to travel a lot with work and with this basketball team that I travel with, so I have packing down to an art most of the time. I keep two of everything like deodorant, toothpast, toothbursh ect. That way when I am going some where I can pack one days ahead of time and still have one to use. I even have a bag that I keep packed all the time that has an extra flat iron, hair dryer, brushes etc., so when I start to pack to go somewhere, I don't have to pack the ones I use at home. Packing for me usually involves only putting clothes in a suit case. I did do more this time because this is my first cruise, and we needed things that I usually do not bring, like extension cords and an over the door shoe organizer. I'll be alright once I'm on the ship, soaking up sun and watching the water go by.

You remind me of me...if I could do two of everything I would just to have the bags packed and locked days ahead....

Good morning everyone! Looks like we are losing more and more people. Everyone who is leaving today, have a safe trip. We are now pushed back to leaving early Friday morning. I found out yesterday that progress reports come out at DD's school on Thursday. Thursday night will be open house and parent-teacher conferences. We have to meet with DD's teacher at 7:30 Thursday evening. I know she is doing very well, but the school really frowns upon missing these conferences. This is the first of the year, and with DD missing six days for this cruise, I don't want to push it. Anyway, as long as I am at the port Saturday morning, I don't care when I leave home.

All of you who still haven't packed are making me so nervous. I have been partially packed for about a month now. Everytime, I go back over what I have, I think of something I forgot. Please, please, please start packing so that I can calm down.

This is exactly why I do things the way I do. When we travel, I want DD and me to enjoy every single second. If I put everything off to the last couple days, I be so stressed out. This would lead to a lack of patience and my DD would be the one to suffer. They way I do it, everythings is done and we spend those last couple days calling everyone to say goodbye and doing fun things to start building the excitement. We have the Disney version of Monopoly and that's what we are going to be doing the night before we leave for Florida.

Not everyone, I will be leaving the morning of Friday. DH has to work until 3 am. DD has cheerleading practice Thrs night.

As usual we will be the last to leave. Our flight leaves at 9:30 Sat. morning. DH got the luggage from the attic last night. It will sit empty until Friday evening. We travel light. We are bringing an extra suitcase this time though so we can pack some duty free liquor.

I broke!!!.... we told the kids tonight that were leaving in the morning...i wanted my parents to be there to see their faces!!!!

We just got home now so its down to business...getting everything squared away before i go to sleep...it is kind of bittersweet for us as we had to say good bye to my sister in law and niece...they will be joining my brother out in Calgary (3000 km away) who moved out there a month ago while we are on the cruise

Dh & I are still here - we don't leave TN until 4:55 on Friday -- we should be @ MCO by 6:30 & having our pre-cruise dinner @ the Cape May Cafe @ the Beach Club on Friday night @ 8:30!!!
We're so jealous we would love to be leaving now but we have 2 more days of work Ugh !!!! -- but to those of you that are leaving today -- tonight & tomorrow --safe travels!!!!!! And enjoy your pre-cruise time @ Disney.

I talked with the Airline today and got us on standby for a Friday morning flight instead of our scheduled evening flight. The flight is wide open and we should be getting into Orlando just before noon
We won't be able to make the MNSSHP but we will be staying at the Hyatt in the Airport friday night. I hope everyone has a safe trip to the port

Okay boys and girls buckle up ..its gonna be a wild ride....okay i think ive done all i can do tonight..the rest is for 3am!!!

I went and reviewed your pics....but with a couple thousand people on board and a drink or two I might not be able to recognize everyone

Lucky lucky to all those who are leaving tomorrow or have already departed!!! Best wishes for safe travel.....we will be departing New Orleans on Friday morning and staying near DTD Friday night. All done with packing except for all the meds needed when traveling with an infant for the "just in case" scenarios and also the boppy (uses it as a pilow), stuffed animals, toys etc etc etc

My DH was like, "who is going to lug all this around?" and I told hime that is exactly why they have porters

Anyway, looking forward to meeting as many of ya'll as possible!

Well, it's 0400 and I am almost all packed up! LOL I have been up since 0200 (again) I will probably not post again, my boss actually wants me to get some work done, which is fair since I have spent more time this week and last posting from my office than from home!

I can't figure out how to get my laptop stowed away... I have too many bags to pack it in the computer bag, and bring that as it's own luggage piece...I bought a 2gb disk for the digital camera so I don't really need it now for the picture uploads...I think it might have to stay home it's gonna' be weird not having it to check e-mail and whatnot....maybe I can reconfigure my stuff... the thought of not bringing it is just too weird...
