Do we have a list anywhere of who has early and who has late dining?

Good afternoon all,

Welcome new cruisers. Jump right in and join this bunch.

Well we are back from FSU. One down and one to go. I only cried all the way home. We unpacked him, tookhim grocery shopping , out to lunch and he was ready to start his college life. He was ready for a nap, still recovering from his wisdom teeth. I told him to call me tonight. His room mate had moved in but we never saw him. We spent about four hours with him and now he is on his own. There are a few kids there from his HS so at least he knows a few.
One more to go this week.

Then it's time for me to shop..............I hope they still have swim suits in the stores , MIne is old and too big.

We get to WDW tuesday night, staying at shades of green.

I can't wait to read Verandah Mans trip report. The next DD will be us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Julie I think we all posted it a while back but it has been lost I know for sure that Amanda and I are late seating...and I seem to recall taht Joanne is as well. But everyone I do not remember! Sorry ! LOL

You are correct. We are late. I like not having to rush to dinner. I am so ready for this vacation........ I am going to bring some loose clothes for the end of the week

Skoi - in answer to your post, we just recently switched to late seating.

Caught a yucky stomach bug from ds yesterday (he had it last week) so spent yesterday feeling like a sick slug Glad to be feeling better today!!

Have started our packing list but it will be at least a week before I finish it - I am another one who spends longer on the list than on the packing itself especially for the cruise. We keep a standard packing list for WDW trips but the cruise is different (not as easy to run to Target if you need something!) so I'll have to start from scratch. DH decided to get a tux from cruiselineformal so at least we don't have to carry that since with formal wear for the rest of us, pirate costumes (including hats) for all of us, etc. we will definitely be maxing out our luggage allowance!

Anyone have an opinion on the Dolphin encounters at CM vs Cozumel? I am thinking we'll do the one in Cozumel and then spend the rest of the day elsewhere (Paradise Beach????) and then do the Maha..... beach in CM. Any opinions or knowledge or advice either way?????

Amanda01 - don't know how I missed the bracelets - thought I had sent you an email and realized too late I didn't. Did you happen to order any extras?

My kids will both be in school tomorrow (dd started last week but ds's first day is tomorrow) and I will have 5 hours to myself Need to get some cruise shopping done so will take FULL advantage of my alone time! This year I will have 10 hours per week - oh how will I ever fill the time

Gssmks - you could see about getting 1 day tickets for your package and then use them toward an AP if you'd rather have the APs. Many others have done this so I imagine it could work for you as well!

Can't wait for this vacation - it will be all the better to share it with all of you DISers!

Wow, everyone has been quiet tonight. I found the Dinning Plan thread, boy they get serious about sticking to the rules. For some of you who have been recently, do the dinning cards designate child meal and adult meal or not. Some of the posts said not while others said they do and that the waiters did check them. This won't be an issue for me, I just wanted to know because it was such a hot topic. If Disney would just make a difference in the cards, noone could cheat, and all those people fighting on the DDP thread could go back to enjoying the magic.

ok now you have me in panic mode. We are leaving in three weeks from tommorrow and I have nothing to wear. . I guess I will be doing a lot of shopping this week end.

I love it! You sound just like me! But I just keep saying to myself. If I go shopping here, that's less money I have to spend on the cruise.

Well, I finally called Budget. They do not have room for parking during the cruise. They have a small lot and they can barely handle all the cars they get dropped off there for the cruises. They suggested staying at the Raddison and get free parking.

As for DS8, I'm not expecting much homework to get done. Actually, we can't even discuss the cruise when he is around because he gets too excited. So, he won't know we are going until we are driving to the airport.

I've been busy and I realized I still haven't decided where to stay pre- and post- cruise. I hate the idea of going to MNSSHP on friday night, and then driving to the port to stay that night at the raddison. I might just be paying $70 for parking at the port.

There are quiet a few that are going to dress up for Pirate night as well as atttend the MNSSHP on 09/15 and not to be a pest to one of those (THEA) but I cant find the links you posted for me to check out the pirate costume sites......please repost pretty please?

Hey Guys whats up...I actually got to go out on Sat night but then spend Sun recovering found a new drink though, vodka and red passion alize!!

Gail - no landsend up here so I went to a bikini bay and as you found, way over priced, 70 and up, I ended up at a local dept store and got one on clearance for only 15

We did not do a dining plan, I figured we will be geting enough to eat on the cruise. We will hit a couple of fast food places while in WDW.

I found DCL early dinner too early and late dinner too late, but I settled with late so we wont have to rush and cut short our days. If the kids get hungry they can grab a snack at goofy's.

My list..gosh havent started yet...I really need to get moving on it!

We will be dressing up for pirates night and MNSSHP.

As for homework for the kids, well they dont start school till the 4th so I have to wait till then to even tell their new teachers about this vacation
