DD and I saw POC: Dead Man's Chest tonight. It was great. For those of you who have seen it, do you see a part three in the works?

Gail, we went too. Yes there is a part three, and Keith Richards is going to play Johnny Depps father. All those characters were kind of gross looking. It was a good movie. We had a pirate ship outside the theater abd they were passing out beads. It was fun. The kids were both off tonight, so it was nice for all to go.

Can you give me some more information about the ruins tour you are planning on doing? What is the reasoning behind arranging yourself rather than via Disney (sorry if this is a dumb question)? We may be interested in joining you.

The kids and I saw POC II last night as well. Great movie, but not as great as the first one. They left this one with a cliff hanger for sure. Im am happy to see Captain Barbossa (Geoffery Rush) will be back!

We heard very good things about the tour company on other cruise boards. We booked a long time ago when Disney didn't have any information on their excursions in Costa Maya. We usually go out on our own, so this is our first organized tour of any kind (except in China, but they wouldn't let us wander around on our own for parts of our trip there, unfortunately).

These guys are said to be very good. One of them grew up right by the ruins. The tour is a little longer and more in depth than the one DCL offers or so I hear, and they're a small, local company. I'll pm you with their website because I'm not sure if I can post it here since it's a commercial site.

A few other people are going too, I think.

I saw that. I'm going with the two big kids since we're covering Mayan civilization in school starting next month. Dh and the baby are staying on board.

We're so lame. We're not doing anything. Ds thought he might like to try parasailing, but changed his mind.

Count me clueless - do you want all of us to do this? I'd be happy too, but I wanted to make sure you weren't refering to someone in particular, first.

p.s.
We saw POC Dead Man's Chest this morning - my DH is working for WDIG and they did a private showing for their employees and families. What a fun perk! While the movie is long (140 minutes) I didn't notice that at all and was a little sad when the credits rolled.

Oh, and it took all my willpower not to dress as a pirate! Luckily there's pirate night on the cruise!
