Hooray - just made the final payment for the cruise today!!1
I secretly added in the REAS package as a surprise for DH. I am so psyched for this cruise I can barely stand it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Donna - fantastic pics (a few pages back) Thank you - they really made me smile.

Kamgen - You are so talented! Everything looked beautiful. I'm sure it will be a fantastic time.

well I haven't posted but once!!!
Kamy has been bugging me , so here I am.
Lisa, I have stayed at Saratoga twice this year, and that is the main reason for me to become a DVC owner I have stayed at 6 resorts on property, and now Saratoga is my favorite!! When you get there , request the "Grand Stand" section. the pool there is awesome I went on a DVC tour of AKV and I was hooked!!!! I always go with Kam and family, but now I think I will try it alone.
Kam, said I should talk about myself to get to know crusiers.

love my gransons, BINGO, all music, General Hospital, 24, and audio books.

First cruise (2001) 3 night only.. sick 2 days.. Since I was little watching TV (Walt on Sundays and Mouse Club after school)I have been a Disney fan. And when I was 12 years old, I went to Disney Land and got to shake hands with WALT.
I guess this is as long as a book, now this should keep Kamy off me for awhile ha ha

Thank you to everyone for the congratulations and compliments. I am so happy to be married to DH (oooh! First time I used that!) and we are looking forward to much needed rest on the cruise.

Kam - I know I already saw the pics, but I'm awe-inspired again. You rock! I can't wait to see you again. I was joking last night about making playdates for Steve and Patrick on the cruise...but I was only half-kidding.

Hey everyone! I am so glad to see my mom posted!!!

Megan- thanks again for the compliments. It was a lot of work, but I really like doing it! Playdates??/ LOL!!! That is hilarious! We will have to schedule them some "alone time" LOL! So are you guys REALLY gonna skip Palo dinner??

I am so ready for the cruise and cannot wait to start shopping for it! And I get to get a wedding dress!!! but first things first.....lose some more weight. I am doing alright with that....just much slower than I would like, but it always is!

Has anyone seen POTC 3 yet? We saw it last night. It was awesome! I won't spoil it but I've heard you need to stay until after the credits. We didn't and missed something. It was a bit confusing so I will need to see it several times I think. I didn't really like 2 that much because it wasn't funny like 1. 3 had a lot of funny parts. I really love Jack Sparrow!

Update on Tim...He is at home resting, he is still in pain, but it has greatly subsided. Hopefully he makes a full recovery soon. Thank you all for your concern.

Hopefully everyone has an enjoyable and relaxing Memorial Day weekend! Its the 1st in a long time for me that I am not traveling! We are hanging out at home and relaxing!

Hi Kim - DH & I are going to try to get my dad to babysit on Monday so we can go and check it out. I can't wait to see it!!!! I am also very excited that we are going to be able to see the Flying Dutchman when we goto CC

Glad to hear Tim is home. Hopefully he will be feeling as good as new soon!!!

As for me, today is my DS's 2nd Birthday. We took him to the Mystic Aquarium today. The kids had a blast there. Right now the birthday boy is sleeping so I had a few miniutes to get on here... We are having the grandparents over on Sunday for a Birthday dinner for him then on Monday we are taking the kids for pictures...(and hopefully seeing POTC) So it is a busy weekend. I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!!!

We saw it last night too ! Awsome! YES !!! Stay till AFTER the credits!!! You will miss out something wonderful! I told everyone around us to stay after... only 12 to 15 of us watched till the END!!!
We will be going back.. this time I'll take my own goodies to sit thru a 3 hr movie!
I think POTC3 had more funny moments.

Wow...POTC3 is three hours long??? I had no idea it was this long.... Good to know!!!

Well, I got a DVC brochure on the new AKLV and it looks fabulous. Kamy - I think you mentioned you were going to be staying there in Sept before the cruise. I may call member services and see if we can switch from SSR to AKLV but I would probably only bother switching if we could get a Savanah View or Concierge.... Something to think about...

Well, I looked into AKVL last night and it seems Concierge will not be done by September and after reading the post on the DVC boards, I think we will wait to stay there for a future trip with our children. So for now, we are staying put at SSR before the trip. Now if September would only get here.... LOL

I saw it Thursday night. I did stay after the credits for the little surprise. People should try to stay and see it! I thought it was as good as the other 2, not better. I agree that it was a bit confusing and will probably end up seeing it again just to understand some parts. Those that love Jack will see PLENTY of him in this movie!

I saw it last night and loved it too. I have to say that as much as I love Jack, Will looked hetter then I have ever seen him before.

I have to agree about Will, and I never thought he was all that. Also, I have never found Johhny Depp attractive in any other movies, only as a pirate in POC, but something about him is very attractive in those movies. The movie was great, I did stay after the credits, I'm glad I did.

Hey everyone. I have been gone since Thursday morning. I have a couple of pages to read to catch up. I don't know if anyone has posted this or not since I haven't read for a few days. I just wanted to pass on that Disney Store now has the POC costumes. DH and I went to the mall for a little while today. There is an Elizabeth Swan costume (It looks more like a Chinese outfit, not really pirate.) There is also a Jack Sparrow costume. There is also a long black wig with a hat/bandana attached. (I can't remember which one it is.) There are plenty of pirate shirts and goodies. It will be perfect for pirate night on the cruise.
One of my DDs will be 12. She needs a size 14 (or 16 in some things). I noticed that Disney Store large is 10/12. Do they offer XLarge in 14/16? If so, I will probably be buying both of them a the Elizabeth Swan outift.......maybe Jack Sparrow - since it looks like a pirate rather than Elizabeth's - if I can convince them to wear a guy costume. We will see.

DH & I got Grandpa to babysit today so we were able to see POTC3. GREAT movie!!!! We loved it!!! DH thinks there will be a 4th eventually but I think it is more wishful thinking on his part.

We did see the trailor for Enchanted. This looks like such a cute movie. I can't wait to take DD to see it!!!

I went to see Pirates 3 this weekend with DH and I was somewhat disappointed. I've taken DS to see the other 2, but this one was FAR too dark for him to see. Unfortunately, I didn't read this post until after the movie...so I didn't stay until after the credits. Poo! I think I would have liked the movie better if not for the ending...I was yelling "Nooooooo!" in my head. And yes, I agree that Will was ridiculously hot in this movie. Of course, he is my favorite character anyway...
