09/15/07 Early Check in September 15, 2007 Eastern

Got me worried there for a second.....

I have gone ahead and decided to do Palo formal night (Sunday) but will still take our daughter to regular early seating so she can still get dressed up and take pictures with us. Hopefully I can resist eating at regular early seating or I might be too stuffed for Palo's. Our ressies at Palo's is at 730.

I think we may try for the champagne brunch, we don't drink wine or champagne, but I guess they have something fruity I could get.

Maybe we could get a big table, do they seat 9 or 10, because we each just have our 1 little "princess":goodvibes with us?

That would be great! I don't know all the table number options. I sure hope we can.

Aha! So YOU'RE the one! ;) When I looked online to book Palo yesterday the Sunday at 7:30 was the only one already booked online. We went for Wednesday at 6:30 - the Master Chef Menu looked the least appealing to us, and with a 4 yr old we probably won't be staying until early evening at St. Thomas.

OK. I have June 17 as the date that we can start booking Palo online as Castaway Club members.
Are both of you able to do it because you booked the romance package?
I am getting nervous that I am wrong.
I, too, am hoping to book for Sunday dinner. I was thinking about 7 or so.

I booked the romance package as a surprise for dh, so that is why I am able to book now. Just added the Exotic Rasul for Monday. If current navigators hold true, that is the morning they have the Do-Si-Do with Snow White in the OC, which is DD's favorite Disney Princess. I'm sure she wouldn't want to miss that! Gotta love it. Also on Monday they have the margarita/tequila tastings. Should make for a great day! :goodvibes

Wow! I knew about tea with Wendy. I never heard of Do-Si-Do with Snow White. That sounds like fun. I bet my youngest DD would enjoy that one! (She turns 9 one week before we sail.) However, my DDs will be in the Oceaneers Lab so they will probably miss it. (I am thinking OC is Oceaneers Club. Right?)
I am getting so excited just reading about your fun stuff and thinking about it all!

LOL - yes guilty as charged. I noticed just a couple of bookings here and there but nothing is filled up by any means (for those that are waiting to book).

And yes - we were able to book early as we had decided early on to add the romance package.

Yes.
I am so ready now that it is even closer. DH must think I am crazy. He doesn't know the half of it!

Hey everyone!

I've been gone for a while, but I hope to get caught up on what's been going on. We just got back from our trip to California. It was great, we got to go to DL for the first time ever! We also spent part of the week near San Diego.

Now I can concentrate on the cruise! I am so ready!!!

How was DL? I haven't been there since the early 80's but have been dying to check it out again with the kids. How does it compare to WDW?

How nice! I have never been to CA or DL. How was it? Tell us your highlights of the park. Do you have some pictures? One day I hope to make it to DL.

How wonderful! I'm heading to San Diego on Thursday for my DBF's sister's wedding. We have one extra day that we are hoping to make a DL stop. Any must see/dos you recommend? It will be my first time out there.

DL is much smaller then WDW... more intimate. DH and I grew up about 35 miles away from there so it's like going home to us.

Must see at DL. EVERYTHING ! Do the monorail, its a nice cool relaxing ride.Find out if you still have to get off at Downtown Disney...... Tarzan's Treehouse. You do alot of climbing.. but it's worth it. Priates, and look for Capt. Jack. Now has it been revised at WDW too? Oh... Indiana Jones ! And all 4 mountains !!! Space Mnt., Big Thunder, Matterhorn, and Splash Mnt. Must EAT... Blue Bayou. Take some $$$. VERY Good. Or the Italian place at CA. Not too costly.

At CA... is California Soaring..if you haven't do it at WDW. California Screamin' and the big farris wheel( I for got the name) and the raft ride. Weather should be good to get wet. And Tower of Terror !
Go have a blast... I know we will on Thursday!

We have gone ahead and booked the French Riviera Beach Rendezvous for our stop in St. Martin.

We are also booked for the Maagens Bay Beach Break for St. Thomas and finally I went ahead and got us some tickets for the Paradize Point Tramway.

Wanted to let folks know what we have booked in case others have booked as well (since we are taking our daughter we are somewhat limited on the types of excursions (she's 4) and my husband is legally blind so he's not comfortable doing some of the other stuff without someone he really knows - he's huge into fitness, etc. and I told him he could go off and do some of that stuff like the eco hikes, etc. but he doesn't want to do it by himself).

Thanks for your opinions Ann! :cool1: :goodvibes

Its the 100 day mark!! :dance3: I won't be able to start the double digit dance tomorrow since I'll be headed for San Diego so I hope you all dance tomorrow without me! :dancer: I'll be back on Wednesday to get all my reservations ready for our 90 day mark on June 16th. Is anyone really going to get up at 3am?
