It's soooooo quiet in here today. I am sure most of you are enjoying a day of Florida heat and sunshine before we set sail tomorrow.

I was the last post before the cruise, and I am first post after it.

Had a great trip, and it was so nice to finally meet all of you guys. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and gets home safetly. Can't wait to see pictures and hear al about your trips. I will post more later.

I'm sorry fthat I didn't get around to meeting all the great people on here. I missed the first DisMeet by Pluto's Dog House. But it was great meeting Anjelica, and Tinkerbell77, and of course, we had our old friends BAHOGG and STARGATER.

We had a great time! Kelsey cried for an hour before bed Friday night and again on Saturday morning as we were going through the parking lot. She is really going to miss Maddie and Bethany, and her new friends Haylee and Krystina.

Man, I hate unpacking!

Well, we are home and have unpacked. Thanks to everyone who helped us have a great time, we enjoyed meeting everyone!! Special thanks to my dinner partners Angelica, Shannon, and Sydney- we had a great time with you guys. Also, Kamgen thanks again for PALO, it was awesome, I'm glad we could be with you guys on your special day. To all that helped us with our DVC questions, we are buying into it, and we rebooked a cruise - we gave a dummy date for 12/08 and will change once 2009 rates come out. Now back to work on Monday

Welcome home everyone. We had a wonderful time and have already rebooked. We are going Thanksgiving 2008. I did the math on the cruise we booked and they gave us 20% of not the 10% as they were saying on the boat.

Hey Tara, I have a great story about the candy you guys gave my sister in the fish extenders. My sister and her husband did not eat them on the ship but planned to eat them on the plane. They put them in their carry on and got stopped. The screener had the bag pulled and drug tested. I am sure she saw lots of little skittles and mike and ikes and those can look a lot like drugs. We all got a good laugh.

And thanks to everyone who put stuff in our fish extenders. We loved finding all the gifts.

Hi everyone. We're back safe and sound. Nice meeting everyone. Our tablemates Lg3 (Liz & family) were extremely nice. We ended up rebooking for next September. It was the Western... I think the date was the 27th.

Unfortunately, I ended up catching something somewhere. We purchased some cold medication on board and I was able to pull myself together to at least make it to dinner (to say goodbye) on the last night. After that, I was down for the count and missed the Til We Meet Again night. Ended up sleeping all day yesterday. Still feeling miserable, but had to pull myself into work this morning to do last weeks payroll. Ugh! Still sitting here at work and feeling miserable... figured the DIS would make me feel better.

We got home yesterday and are spending today cleaning, unpacking & cuddling with the kids whom I missed tons last week. It was wonderful meeting so many of you and I loved dining with Hixski & Jennifer48 at our late seating. I will be back to write more later...

Has anyone else re-booked? We already had the Sept 1 - 6 5 night special Bahamian Double Dip booked, and then I found out DD will be out of school on Sept 24 - 26th. But the Magic is apparently in drydock from the 6th to the 27th. What a bummer. I had already decided that 5 nights just would not be enough, but I guess it will have to be. At least she will only miss 4 days that week due to Labor Day.

Hello everyone.
Well, we are all unpacked and back to routine. We are about to start our school day.
I wanted to say that it was so great to meet all of you! I am so sorry that I couldn't do more of the meets. I was glad to go to the first one, though. It was so much fun putting faces with names!
We had such a wonderful time!!!!!! I am so sorry that it is over. I couldn't convince DH to rebook onboard. Hopefully we will be cruising again in another couple of years, though. I know that we have discussed another Alaska cruise for next summer so it will probably be a 09 Disney cruise.
BTW, Kamy, did you renew your vows at Castaway Cay? Our family was at the end of family beach, very close to Heads Up. (I did see Tinkerbelle and her crew near us too!) I saw a couple having a wedding ceremony. Was that you? I didn't get to meet you at our Saturday meet so I wasn't sure if that was you or not.

Well, we didn't get to meet anyone on this board . It was our first cruise and we were off exploring in our own little world. It was truly a wonderful time and the best vacation with the kids ever!!

I did want to post to say "thank you" to whoever left the gift bag for us. We did decorate our door and someone probably saw it. It was a nice suprise. THanks again!!

totally agree. We felt so much more relaxed at Castaway and my girls loved it. Not really into the shopping thing and my girls (both 3) were not very happy about the attempt at shopping.

I'll have to participate more in all the DIS gatherings on our next cruise. We got involved a little late in the game and my DH was kind of shy when I'd suggest attending a gathering.

I did go to the coffee meet. (DIS stayed at the pool). Other than that, we just wore our lime green DIS bands the rest of the week. We would wave to fellow DIS'ers but didn't get to know any of them too well. Well, other than our fabulous tablemates... lg3 and family.

We did go ahead and prebook for the next cruise - we will be doing December 27th, 2008 (the kids daycare/school's are closed during that time and we had to take off anyways). Was a tad bit more expensive then low peak but we couldn't resist.

You will LOVE the double dip...On regular cruises, Castaway Cay day is bittersweet, because you look forward to it all week, but it signals the end of the cruise. On the double dip, you go the first day and the last day, so you can relax and enjoy it without feeling sad.

I wish they would do a sea day after Castaway Cay day, but I guess that's not really feasible.

We are doing the 5 night special Bahamian in Sept 2008, and it goes to CC, Nassau, day at sea, and CC. I think I will just not even get off the ship at Nassau!

Hi everyone!!! We are back, Our flight was delayed for about an hour and half last night, but we made it home!! It was great meeting all of you, I know Haylee and Krystina were sad to leave Kelsey, they asked when are we going to see her again.

I have to apologize about the last day at sea brunch, we changed our Palo brunch reservations to that day, and all they had available was 10:30am, I had every intention of going from there to the lunch. But I was not feeling too well Wednesday night and Thursday morning. I was feeling the ship move alot. So again, I am sorry about not making it to lunch and not planning it for everyone!

We are booked for a 3 night Feb 7, 08, with the kids, my mom and step dad, and Tim's dad. Then the kids go home with grandma and grandpas, and we stay for the 4 night. So thats exciting to us!!! As far as the 5 night on September, we are looking pretty closely at it, if we can get the time off work, I believe that we will be there...I will know more tomorrow after Tim goes back to work and requests the time off!

I am glad to have met all of you!!! I hope we sail together again soon!!!

Tina, that would be great! Kelsey would be on to know that she would get to see Haylee and Krystina again.

That is awesome - we are "this" close to adding on there. That is one of my favorite resorts and I can't wait until the villas open up.
