Are you going to make the DIS meet at BC?

I am hoping to. That actually would be another plus for a rental car. I could then drive over to BCV from AKV instead of using the buses. I have toyed with changing resorts, but Sandi has only stayed at OKW so I think that she would love AKV.

I need to ask her again if there is a specific resort that she would like to stay at. I asked before but didn't get much of an answer.

That is why we are staing at the Boardwalk. I have always wanted to stay there and walk the boardwalk at night. I think it was Mary that told me if you go by the bridge leading to Epcot you could see the fireworks. I also have always wanted to go down the slide with the Clown face. I know I am nuts.

You may also be able to see them from the Boardwalk down near the piano bar. My room was up above that area and I could see them. I saw people down there watching but I am not sure what the angle was like.

When you walk on to the boardwalk is the piano bar to the left of right? or should I say is it by ESPN. I am not a north, south, east, or west person. I am so bad with that. That is why I bought a Garmin.

Trying to catch up on all I missed.

Well, I went and joined tonight. It will be interesting to see how I like it. but I figured I would give it a try for a year.

We joined, too; we wanted to see what it was all about.

We got our D23 member card yesterday. The rest of the package is to come. We already had the magazine which I love. I also ordered some pins and a t-shirt for each of us.

Just have to share!

We booked are are tonight with United. It is a little over 200.00 per person out of O'hare. I don't see us getting better then that. We will get to the Boardwalk Friday night. Then we fly home on Thursday after the cruise.

I also scheduled the magical express from the airport to the Boardwalk.

Now all we have to do is get the magical express to the cruise and back to the airport. But that is not free so we will waite a while.

As far as I can see all we have left is getting the limo to the airport.

Congrats on booking your flight. We should be at Boardwalk by the time you get there. If all goes well we should get there early afternoon.

I do have a question.

Has any one ever used the grocery order form for the resorts? Since we are comming in late on Friday I was thinking of using that. Would like to have milk for the coffee (for DH) and some snacks.

Also, does any one know if Boardwalk has like a general store were you could buy items like that. I know they have one at SSR but not sure of Boardwalk does. I tried to look on line and do not see any thing listed.

We've never used the order form. Boardwalk does have a store down the the Boardwalk itself that sells basic grocery items like milk, bread, cereal, etc. I've bought a few things from there. That is also the basic store for clothing, pins, etc.

If you watch from the Boardwalk itself you should be able to see the high fireworks. If you walk over to the bridge you should be able to see some of the lower fireworks as well.

With a Boardwalk view you should be able to see the fireworks from your room which is one of my favorite things to do. A nice cold drink, a seat on the balcony, and no walk back after.

The two pins that came already are really nice. Still have one on back-order. We got the beige t-shirt. They were out of our size on the dated ones (for day one) but that's ok. Got the same shirt now without the date on it. Just thought it was a cute shirt.
