$.08 digital prints at winkflash.com

disneyphd - Thanks for the input - Your way is the way I was doing it - but when I have 140 pictures to upload, it was just taking way too much time - I just thought maybe there was a different way - Oh well -

But I just checked out My Publisher.com - WOW - That is really cool! I wish I would have known about that for Christmas! I bookmarked that page and I am sure I will be ordering from them soon - Would be great for vacation books!
Disneyphd - be sure to let us know how the book looks when you get it!

I was trying to do a search to find mypuplisher, when I found this

http://www.winkflash.com/gpromo.asp

That is the new code, but I think the 8 cents works better for me. This one is for 36 prints free.

I was looking at ophoto and the books at my puplisher were about half the price of the ophoto ones. They have larger hard cover ones for $20, holds up to 180 pictures. Those might be great for WDW trips, it took me a 6 months last year to finish my WDW album and I bet $60 or more on the album, prints and paper. Still I like doing scrabbooks, however in the inerest of times the puplished books might be good too! :cool1:

Need help with winkflash - If you have lots of photos to use, how do you upload them all - Or do you? I am using Netscape, and I am trying to upload the photos so that I can order them, and it is taking a very long time - Any suggestions?

KaitlinsMom-
I had the same troubles you had with Netscape! Try using Internet Explorer- when I did that, it was fine!

I usually use shutterfly or Ofoto, but I was wondering if winkflash allows you to edit the photos (zoom in, adjust brightness, red eye) and do they have all of the cute borders?
Thanks

Thanks so much for the code-been wanting to print photos at home but it's such a pain-you save me a ton of time and $$$$

Just as an FYI to people who are ordering more than 100 prints - the coupon is a one per household deal, and they seem to be following the rules.

The free 36 prints one is valid on your first order only. I tried to use the free code to order additional prints after placing my first (doht!) order with them (like, within minutes), and I received a message saying that the coupon was not valid with my order. Not sure what would've happened if I had used that one prior to placing my order.

As for reusing the .08 print code - they followed up with that too, and I couldn't get it on my second order. I'm not sure if they're tracking email or login or what, but somehow they knew it was me.

Oh well, either way it was a good deal - thanks for the heads up!!

So if you have already used the 8 cents one, use the free 36 prints. (link to it listed in my above post.)

More ways then one to skin a cat! :earboy2: (what a sick expression, why do we use them?) Still waiting on my book from mypublisher.com , I got an email they sent it, I should get it later this week.

Thanks for the link, but that's the code I did try, and, actually, why I posted. Just to clear up what I meant - the 36 free prints is only valid for your FIRST order as a member. I used the .08 code first (before reading the free prints one), so by the time I tried the free code, it was on my second order at winkflash.

Anyhoo, I believe you should be able to use both codes, just make sure you use the 36 free as your first coupon!

Thanks for clearing that up. I hadn't realized that. I wouldn't be able to use the free 36 since I have been using winkflash for a while now. I guess I would have to use someone elses name and address (like my mothers, and send her the prints, that would make her happy).

I was able to use the 100 for 8 cents. I ordered like 104 total, so 4 of them were for 16 cents. I hadn't understood why at 1st, but didn't worry since it worked for most of them.

Hey let us know when you get your mypublisher book and what you think of it. I'm thinking of doing that for some of our pictures. I scrapbook but I am SO SO SO far behind. This is a nice fairly affordable way to get them in a book quickly.

That is what I was thinking. The whole thing took me an hour or so (off and on, it was a very lazy Sunday.)

I got it in the mail today. It cost me a total of $15 with S&H. (think I got 2 extra pages for 50 cents each.) I got the small one for 9.95 So a total of 22 pages, with 4 pictures on a page. It is all bond together well. It is cute, not nearly as good as a home made scrap book, but really nice and it was easy. The pictures are rather small (since I put 4 on a page I had a lot to fit in, you can do 1, 2 or 3 on a page.) I think on the bigger books it would better. However this size is pefect for the small kind you bring with you and show people. DD is really going to like this, and I don't have to worry abou her being as careful with it as my normal mongo big vacations bookds.

I am thinking about making another one soon for MIL for a brag book about the grandkids for her to bring with her when they leave for FLA soon (they are running late snow birds this year.) I think I will make another one for my 13 year old niece when we get back from WDW next month. It would be perfect for her, (better yet, I will have her make it, she is good on the computer too.)

This size is great to give a young child as thier book of vacation or something to take to school.

Picture quailty is fine, about what you get from a decent home printer. It isn't on photo paper, so it couldn't be as good as Winkflash or Walmart pictures, but still not bad.

So over all impression? Good, not great or knock your socks off, but good. I will make some more, there is a place for it in my photo collections, and it was pretty affordable all and all. (really if you think abou it, I think I have 80 prints in this, but they are small.) Go ahead and try it, it isn't too much money.

I would like to check out the larger book, I think it might be better. The small book is really good to put together for a take with you book of WDW vacation pictures to show friends, enough to see alot, but not to get too bored of it. (I never get bored of WDW pictures, I look at strangers WDW pictures, but that is me!) Great idea for gifts for granparents. I know MIL is really going to love hers.
:cheer2: :cheer2:

Let me know if anyone else trys them.

Hi

I'm a longtime lurker coming out of hiding. ;)

I used this code last week and my pics came yesterday Priority Mail, super fast delivery. I am happy with them, but usually I order from Sony Image Station and the Winkflash just don't seem as bright/sharp as the Image Station ones. I printed a few of the same that I had previously printed on Sony so I'll check them side by side tonight. All in all, it's a great deal for the $$ IMO.

I just got back the "grandma" book I made for my MIL from mypublisher. It is so beatiful it makes me want to cry. I just love it and I know she will too. Now I have to wait until Sunday to give it to her (her birthday). She is over right now playing with the kids so I went in my room to look at it.

It was a little under $20 because I got extra pages (30 total) and S&H is around $5.

This is a really good idea for gifts and when you don't have time to make a scrap book.
