The kids are crying that they are "starving". I guess I better make them some lunch. Have a wonderful day everyone! :flower3:

Yes, WDW and DCL are a very different vacation without kids. It gives you time to stop and smell the roses or to take an uninterrupted afternoon nap or even a bath!

Beth

Or ride Everest TOGETHER!! :thumbsup2 Our last trip was with DGS7 and he will NOT ride the fast rides. Grandpa and I love those!

Thank you for all the birthday wishes for Cole! We just have one more birthday in our family before the cruise (Emily turns 5 in September). Then, our 11th Anniversary is in late November. We are waiting to celebrate our Anniversary onboard. Our Palo dinner will be our Anniversary dinner. That is what we did last year and it was sooooooooooo nice.
:cool1: I can't wait for this cruise!:cool1:

We celebrate our 40th in Oct. We are not sure if we will be doing anything special. It really depends on if the house sells by then. If it does we will probably be at Disneyland, if not we will probably take the motorhome over to the Oregon Coast for a couple of days. I'm hoping for Disneyland!:rolleyes1 :woohoo:

:sad1: Bill leaves in a couple of weeks for WDW and the Disney Institute. He plans to attend Epcot on his arrival day and then he has one free evening later in the week that he plans to go to MK. He's going to have some fish 'n chips for me in the UK. They are my favorite! I wish we were going with him, but I understand his company not wanting "distractions". Plus, Will has football practice that week. So, things happen for a reason. If Will didn't go to practice, he wouldn't be able to play in the game that Saturday. He is doing so well, we don't want him to lose momentum.:thumbsup2

Yum! I love those fish 'n chips too. Ask him to have a serving for me too!

Well this is belated! I was not on my computer almost all day until about 11:30pm! Unbelievable! :laundy:
Anyway --
HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLE!!! We have seen him in person and he is even cuter!

We will be celebrating two bdays on the cruise!
Hannah will turn 6 on the 3rd of December and we have to throw Matt's in
there too because his is 2 days after Christmas on the 27th. Last year i had a big 40th bash for him so this year the cruise is it for him! :rolleyes1

I like rollercoasters too. We plan to ride Everest at night during AK (EMH). It should be fun! :woohoo:

Good Luck!:shamrock: My vote would be for Disneyland too. However, I've seen pictures of the Oregon coast and it looks amazing!:boat: One of these years, we'll take a roadtrip to CA and the West Coast.:dance3:

I hope everyone had a wonderful day. Bill is off with Will at football practice. So, I have just the two. However, Cole does not want me to type, he wants to type. So, I'd better sign off for this evening. Also, I have pizza dough rising. I guess I need to check on that too (pun intended). Evening All! :goodvibes

I promise last post from me this evening. I had to end on an "odd" note. Sorry, I am superstitious. Once again, Evening All! :surfweb:

This is the end of a very long day! Tomorrow I have to reformat this computer, and then hope that I can get everything running properly again, since it's the main computer in our house, and all of the others connect to the internet through it. It's been giving me trouble for a while, but I never really had the time to work on it.

Tomorrow the kids (DS and DDIL) are setting up our tent for the first time to make sure that they can do it once we get to WDW. DH will take DGD to ride her bike in the park, and I'll be here in the house enjoying a few quiet moments when I can get the whole reformatting process running. If all goes well, I'll post again tomorrow. If all doesn't go well...:confused3.

We'll be celebrating our 35th anniversary on the cruise. Actually, that's our gift to each other. We don't really need to do anything special, just being alone together for 7 nights on the cruise and a couple at WDW afterwards is enough for us!

Beth

Yes, the Oregon Coast is amazingly beautiful. We spent 4 nights over by Astoria earlier this month. It was a camping trip with nieces and their families and our DD and her DH and DD. We like it best down by Tillamook....central Oregon coast.

We will be celebrating Jasmine's 9th birthday on Dec 9th. Her BD is actually late Sept, but the suite is her birthday present. No she doesn't usually get such an expensive present, but she's had a rough couple years. Between her Dad and I she's had to deal with 3 deployments in 2 years. And after she comes back from his house in October, he's going to Korea for a year. All this and all the moves really caught up with her this past year. She's doing much better now. But I wanted to do something special for her. princess:

I got up all excited today because for the first time I get to book my ressies 105 days out:banana: So of course the DCL website isn't cooperating.

I love being able to book everything ahead of time. But DCL really needs to overhaul their site.

:grouphug: for your daughter. Glad she is doing better.

DD (DISer Sweetpea) will have her 39th bd on Dec 8, the day we board. She is very excited!

I was able to get on the website finally. It looks like the Parasailing at Castaway Cay is cancelled for the foreseeable future. But maybe it'll open up when we get closer to sailing.

I too was able to get all of my resv. this AM. Only hold out is the dolphine adventure because my little grand daughter 1 month too young. The adults are booked, but we need to get her on the observer only excursion but I didn't see it available. Where do I do this? Does anyone know? Thanks:goodvibes
