I Just went and found all my disney trivia books :) hoping to get my chance on Who wants to be a Mousekateer (spelled that wrong sorry) If not maybe a panelist :) I love Disney trivia. :D Need to study up though lol.

I've been on the panel twice and have the pins to prove it. There are also a couple of really poor photos of me on stage in the panel.:goodvibes

Yessss...we finally got our docs.

Which reminded me...I have passports for the kids, but that's their only photo id. Somewhere it says 2 pcs of photo id. The package says "over 18". So...here's the question. Passport + provincial health card enough for kids, do you think? I really don't want to bring their birth certs as well, I'd like to leave something home, "just in case". I don't know if you get a state card of any sort for kids, but this is gov't issued ID, with full legal names and date of birth. No photo or address, though.

I already have one of the turkeys in the brine this morning. I will cook him, the apple pies and the hams tomorrow. I also make the mashed potatoes on Wed, reheat in crockpots Thursday and they are just like "new". This saves me so much stress on Thanksgiving because I have to make 20 pounds of potatoes. :scared1: I think the final count for this year is 43.

Our turkey is in the brine today, tonight we're making sweet potato pie, tomorrow night it's the cranberry sauces (two different kinds) and stuffing, and then Thursday we'll actually deep fry the turkey and make all the other goodies. I'm so glad there's only five of us!

Beth

There's only two of us this year and I may convince DW to go out ..... maybe to a Chinese restaurant :lmao:

Passports are fine.. :thumbsup2 They don't expect every document on under 18.. only Adults..

Do kids need a medical card print out of some kind for the Kids Clubs? DS didn't, but he was already a Teen.. and I'm glad he didn't cause I would of never of thought to bring Proof of Vaccines..

I'm asking cause Sept 08 our niece is coming on the cruise without her parents.. We know about the Passport & the Notary letter from the Parents oking her to be on the cruise.. I was just curious if we need to bring Medical records :confused3

Thanks :flower3:

As far as I know, the passports alone should be enough ID for the kids. The only thing I carry is my passport. I don't have a copy of my birth certificate, and getting one isn't going to be an easy task.

We've done that once or twice! I don't like turkey very much, but eat it because 1: it's part of the whole holiday tradition and 2: my DDIL is cooking it and I don't think she'd be too happy if I didn't eat at least some of it!

Journeyman.. New series.. Mondays after Heroes!!!

:thumbsup2

That's why I quickly skipped through those posts  I had not seen it yet but it is on our TiVo. I was holding off until DW comes back home.

On our last cruise's thread we used to say "Spoiler Alert" before we posted things about a show mostly for the West Coast crew. :happytv:

44.. don't forget me ;)

:rotfl2:

I hope you get some kind of help in the Kitchen.. That's alot of people..

My mother always makes too much food.. :sad2: She knows my DS will not eat Veggies or Salad and yet Every year she makes a Salad and 2 kinds of Veggies for 3 people to eat.. This year just her and I will eat them since DH won't be in town..

DS is coming and after dinner he Needs to get back home for being on call for the EMT/ First Aid Squad.. Did you know, there is something IN turkey that GIVES people Heart Attacks?? :scared1: It triggers something in the heart for certain people.. Most people don't even know they have this..

I love my son  He gave us a Legit excuse to leave my mother Early!!

:rolleyes1

That's a really good question, Stacy, I know my kids need their vaccine record to participate in things all the time...but I have not seen it requested for the cruise ANYWHERE, and were it necessary, you'd think they'd be posting big flashing signs...

Well even DS needs his records when he Job Shadows in the Hospitals & Medical Centers for school..

Now, you would Think.. DCL would require a Medical checklist for all the kids in the clubs.. :confused3

Well I've given up trying to catch up on every post, but it looks like folks are still getting their docs!

I don't know if I'll get mine or not. I Emailed my TA last week to tell her that my DSis has a new address. She Emailed back that the docs will come straight from DCL, and that she had put in a message to them about it. I've never heard of docs being sent straight to the cruiser when they book through a TA. Oh well, as long as we do the online forms we are okay.

Our UPS lable said it came directly from DCL and we booked thru DU. :confused3

If past experiences tell us anything, they will want to BE US! :lmao: Last two large DIS groups we sailed with we had folks all over asking how they could "get one of those shirts". :lmao: :lmao: Um, you can't, it's a cult thing. :lmao:

We should carry around cups of Kool Aid. :lmao: That joke would probably get us kicked off the ship though. :sad2:

We are arriving Friday (12/7) around noon and staying at the airport Hyatt. I know there will be others but I can't remmeber who else is staying at Hyatt. Who else will be at the Hyatt?

We are!  But our flight doesn't get in till after 6pm. So after we get luggage and get checked in, we'll probably just have time for dinner then early to bed. I might ask DH if he wants to take a quick dip in the pool, but I didn't really want to worry about taking wet suits the next morning. :headache:

My last day in the office is next Wednesday!

Congrats on your first pirate: !!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!:cheer2: I was happy to grab my pirate yesterday :) Happy for you.:cheer2:

And congrats on your first pirate: too!

Anybody have the ship to shore phone number handy? I have it at home. I am printing itinerary for friends and family back home.

ok... the phone rang 4 times in the last 45 minutes.. after the 3rd call I said to my son You answer it, they'll all been for you.. So he does.. Next thing I hear.. Mooooooooooooom phone's for you :sad2:

My DGD was in the kids' club when she was 3 1/2. I don't think we had to provide any kind of documentation for her. She's very annoyed that she's not joining us on this cruise, but she doesn't know that I'm trying to pull together an "Grandma and Shannan" weekend at WDW and then a four-night cruise in May. I'm not sure if I can make it all happen, so I'm not telling her yet!

Beth

I finally got on the phones at work today :cheer2: after a month of training.
For once in my life I want to go to work, and when you have to wake up at 4a.m. for it...thats a big deal!

We went to a concert at the house of blues last night. A few drinks and a mosh pit later I think i tore something in my ankle/leg. OUCH! I never injure myself in a normal way haha!

I feel so out of it on the disboards!!!
But trust me, sceduling a wedding right after starting a new job is enough stress to make anyone a mess:eek:
